I keep forgetting you have the surprisingly badass name of Bryan Chandler. It's the kind of name that makes me think of characters in action movies whose knowledge of pithy one-liners is surpassed only by their skill with semiautomatic pistols.

We had like 80 billion (Okay, multiple orders of magnitude less than that, but it was a LOT) of panel submissions this year, and the total acceptance rate as a result was unfortunately very low

I don’t blame you guys, I blame the situation. Obviously, in retrospect, BronyCon 2019 should’ve been a week long.
This is surprising. I bet they got you in a catch-22. You were denied because last year's attendance was poor, but last year's attendance was poor because you got a shit venue. Either way, this thing usually takes place in one of the less-used spaces, so I figured you wouldn't have trouble getting a spot.
And yeah, repeat panels usually seem to be favored, which is why I was floored when last year they turned me down for a continuation of one of the best attended writing panels from the previous year.
