Her heart hardened by decades of war, Sweetie Belle had put all of the past behind her, walled it off behind arcane enchantments and physical training so difficult that it even cost her horn. But when she saw a chance to go back and set everything right, to defeat the Storm King's invasion and free Equestria from decades of his cruel rule, she still had the moral strength to leap through the chronal portal.
What she did not realize was that passage through the timestream would scramble her memories. Now as she fights her way up the Storm King's army, she fights a similar set of battles against her own rebellious memories, against what she sees as a false history of being a loved child in a city of friends. She will defeat the lies in her own mind, conquer Equestria for her master, and the Storm King will reign victorious. Forever.
