Alright, so I finally have some good news. I have finished the sequel to The Discovery, and I'm currently in the process of editing it now. Once my editor and I have completely fixed all the issues and dealt with the problems the story has, then I'll begin uploading. Hopefully by either the end of the week or mid-next week. I've also started on a sequel to Scars that will hopefully be finished by the time I finish uploading this first story. Again, once that's done, I plan to finish the big story that's going to sort of end the DSU.
So my hope, is that I'll be able to consistently upload every week from the end of the week/next week, until the show ends and I finish this last story. I still have hopes for the brony community sticking around after it's all said and done, but I'll wait and see for now. Anyways, that's just a little update for you guys, and I hope you enjoy the upcoming story. I'm afraid that since it's only going to be around 40K words, it's going to have a pretty fast pace compared to The Discovery, but I think I can manage it in a way that isn't just completely displeasing to read.
I hope you guys like these stories. I've really tried to hit some themes that I felt were lacking in The Discovery and I've done my best to make them as good as they can be, given their material.

You know I personally believe that in the end the brony community will be fine. I think it'll all depend on how good Generation 5 will be and if the people will be open enough to the inevitable changes it will introduce. I have no doubt that the year 2020 will be a rough year for all of us since it will be a mix of waiting for GEN 5 and mourning the end of GEN 4, but I digress. I've been watching this show since 2016 and I still have the urge to look up the stories fans make. Even though it will end for me one day, what I can say for sure is that it's been one hell of a ride

Looking forward to seeing what you've cooked up. Oddly enough, one of my questions regarding the future of the fandom after G4 is if this site will have the same name and if it will allow fanfiction from G5 (if people like it enough to write fanfics for it).
