So, there isn't too much to give an update on, since I'm still just plugging away on my chapters and waiting for some of my other works to be reviewed so I can submit them.
I did want to share two things in the meantime, though:
1. I decided to go public with my Discord Server: ATTB
As taken directly from the Server's Welcome message;
This server was created for the purpose of focusing on readers and artist to share and collaborate on their works. Maybe that means help working out how to move a story along, working on a character, spelling, and grammar, or getting the word out about a particular story.
My goal is to let this be a place where people can come to find comradery and support in their pursuit to improve their writings and art while helping and supporting others. So don't expect this server to focus on posting images just to share them or shit posting.
2. I've just reached 200 views, with a like to dislike ratio of 19 to 9. For a view count, that's still pretty low when compared to so many others, but that wasn't really my goal here. The likes to dislikes ratio are finally above a 2 to 1 scale, so I can be happy about that. But I think a lot of this is due to the fact that my first 7 or so chapters I submitted were ripe with spelling and grammar issues. Some of which have not yet been fully corrected since I'm putting out new chapters faster then what my only editor can keep up with for the time being.
Regardless, it's such a pleasant feeling to know that there are people out there who enjoy my story so far. So, I wanted to thank everyone who has liked, commented, watched, fave'd, shared, or even just read Crossing the Trixie Bridge. I really do appreciate you joining in on this new venture of mine, and I'm looking to the future to find a way to better show that appreciation. Just not sure how to go about doing that, yet. Maybe some Discord rewards, a gifted game or membership of your choice, or some commissioned work. Who knows.
Looking forward to what the future brings.
Also! A big thank you to MaxBeezy, for his contribution to an upcoming chapter that will have a heavy emphasis on a largely overlooked character, Chris. It's small, and you might miss it, but I'm already more than pleased with it.
So, if you haven't seen his work before, it's worth checking out.
