Chapter 12 Update (No Spoilers). · 3:03pm Feb 23rd, 2024
So, catching everyone up from my last blog, it's been a bit rough coming home. Typing and such has been hit and miss for me, but I feel as though things are finally back on track for me in that department. However, thankfully, working on images wasn't so heavily impacted, as seen in the teaser image above. Some images came out much better than others. For a few images I kinda had to let some... lower quality portions fall through just because it lets the idea get across well enough, and Ai can still only do so much.
Also, Stable Diffusion has a steep learning curve with certain characters, as it turns out. That, and trying to get the Ai to do certain positions or actions, is damn near impossible.
All that being said, I have a few more images I'd like to get done before finishing up the edits on chapter 12 and publishing it, and I think you'll be pleased with the level in which things start to finally dial-up. It's partially why I wanted the visuals to go along with this chapter so much.
On another note of slow down, a very close friend of mine, someone I call a brother, and someone I've served and deployed with, who has been at my side supporting me and helped me through many of my ER visits, will be departing today. The level of awesome shit he'll be doing... is the kind of shit I can't talk about, but I'm proud of him and wish him all the best, but I'm going to miss the fuck out of him all the support he's always given me.
So, besides my health issues and working on art, my attention has been divided in different areas, but that's life, ya know.
