At some point I was really bored and did some searching for something other than a Shoe0nHead video for stuff about cover it. AdobeSpark is this free thing that you can use to try and make stuff. I stumbled across it and tried to play around with cover art on my stories. I'm not entirely terrible at it?
Some of my stories have updated covers now. I decided to upload the ones I didn't feel were subpar or still needed work and self-doubt. So, there's that.
now you can re-download some of my stories to get cover art that's marginally different from the previous one and probably continue to fuel whatever conspiracy is going on
idk maybe you're picky about cover art like that
Ooo, Spark looks pretty snazzy! I'm never sure what to think of titles on cover art, because they don't always show up well when you see the smaller thumbnail view, but on the bigger picture they definitely make it look more polished, and it's nice to know there're easy options for it out there.
Shoe0nhead's great too 🐰

Spark works pretty well in app form too. I honestly really like the patterns because even if you had to use the same art as someone else for a story, patterns and cleaner layouts still look really nice in FIMFic and for setting a story apart.
Ollie's the real star tho
Wow - that's incredible!
Your cover art has always been good (serious envy you can write and draw ) and I look forward to seeing what you can do with this new package.
Keep up the good work!

I actually haven't drawn any of my cover art. Most fan artists don't mind their art being utilized if they're credited or they don't have anything saying their art is off-limits. Derpibooru is generally a really good place to find art, screencaps, vectors and anything for cover art. Though, the latter two are generally intended for use.
looks pretty nice I say, but my opinion on art should matter little as my best drawing is a stick figure :P

Yeah - cover art can be a bind. I typically cobble my art together as a collage using bits of images from different sources to create something new, but I frequently find I've written a story and can't find the art to support it!
That Tomb of Magic piece you did is very professional - look forward to seeing more.

thanks! i have a few other covers already changed.
i have a hard time finding art for certain stories too (like favorable alignment, which was a hard story to find art for) so that's why i tend to find derpibooru's comprehensiveness helpful. they have a lot of art from people who deleted blogs and other accounts, so there's a lot of rare pair and obscure art hidden there.

That's a beautiful LunaxSombra piece, you did well to find it.
My very first story was based around a piece of art I fell in love with, but ever since then I've struggled - sometimes it can take days trying to hammer disparate images together to create something even vaguely cohesive. Sometimes I've even had to go back and change the story just because I just couldn't find the artwork.
Anyway, thanks for the tip - I'll be sure to check out derpibooru in future.
Good luck!

thanks again! it was actually a request from the ponydoodles tumblr. they do really good free sfw art requests, generally centered around ships and pride headcanons.
It's awesome!
