Next Chapter is up! · 5:35pm Apr 20th, 2019
I'll try to get to work on the next chapter quickly, but I might need about a day or so to work on it. I might also play either Persona 3, 4, or 5 to really get the Persona feel.
And for those who find it nerve wracking that Starlight hasn't rescued Beatrix yet, I apologize but that's just how Persona is. Don't worry though, Starlight should be able to save her soon.
I... think.
I played Persona 4 Golden for PS Vita and done tons of research on the tarot arcanas that people represent in some of the games, and I'm using that gained knowledge in my own Persona stories. P4G is really fun, and I hope you're able to try it out
The only Persona game I've played was 5, but it was really enjoyable.

I actually have all of the main games on some level except for Eternal Punishment. But I have both Persona 1 and 2 (Innocent Sin) on PSP, Persona 3 FES on PS2 and on my PS3 via the Network, Persona 4 Golden for PS Vita, and naturally Persona 5 for the PS3. All of them are great games, and you could say that Persona 6 REM is my love letter to those games. If you couldn't tell from how detailed I'm getting with things in that story, I love Persona a lot, and am having so much fun writing this story.

If you get the chance, you should at the very least play through Persona 3 and Persona 4, but get their updated versions. Persona 3 FES is on the PSN I believe, but Persona 4 Golden is for the PS Vita only, for... some reason... Yeah, even I think that was a dumb move. But it's like the ONLY reason to get a Vita, even though Child of Light is pretty good.
But yes, when you get the chance, try to play both of those games. Not just because it'll make all of the references and callbacks in the story that much more awesome, but mostly because those are fantastic games that will test you both as a player and emotionally.
5047060 Nice! Honestly, I haven't read your story yet, due to IRL situations, but I'll read it soon

I can't wait to see how you feel about it.
Is that a ponified MMZ Zero?
What system is the original versions of Persona 3 and Persona 4 available on?

Both were for the PS2 originally.
Well, I do own a PS2. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to hook it up to any of the TVs in my house, so there's no point in trying to get Persona 3 and Persona 4 right now even though playing them would help me enjoy Persona 6: REM more than I already do.
After all, the reason I enjoyed Code Lyoko: EG as much as I did was because I was already familiar with Code Lyoko, and the sole reason I got the DS version of Chrono Trigger was so I could enjoy Chrono Reflect even more than I already do. Heck, the use of Kingdom Hearts music in your stories is the reason why I dove into that series with 358/2 Days, Dream Drop Distance, and Re:coded in addition to owning the novels of 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep.
Long story short, you're making me want to play the Persona games with Persona 6: REM, but I can't since none of the main games have been ported to the 3DS or the Switch (the latter of which I'll be (hopefully) getting for my birthday next month).

Well, thankfully Persona 6 REM doesn't require knowledge of the previous games to enjoy. I might do reviews of both of them on my blog though, as I am replaying them in my spare time.
It's true that your stories don't require knowledge of the source material in order to be enjoyed on their own merits, but having that knowledge makes your stories even better since we, the readers, are able to notice all the references you make to the source material and, by extension, the amount of effort you put into adapting whichever series you chose to blend with Equestria Girls for that particular story.
That's what I like about your stories; you're able to seamlessly combine Equestria Girls with any series you're a fan of while managing to remain faithful to both source materials. Heck, I consider your various interpretations of both versions of the Mane 7 and the supporting cast of G4 MLP to be the definitive versions because you absolutely nail their characters whenever you write them, and it's why I look forward to seeing new stories from you.
