If you were looking at the shirts I sell...

... they're about to go away. My shirt printer is retiring, and I have no replacement.

After May 5 I'm going to take down the online order links on my little business's online store, and after this summer I'll clear out of whatever shirts I have left.

So if you'd noticed any of these before, now's effectively the last chance.

Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

The books being used for Haycartes' Pluperfect Method are (so far):

Beat to Quarters by C. S. Forster (complete)
Death Masks by Jim Butcher (in progress)
Hamster Princess: Harriet the Invincible by Ursula Vernon
Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett

After that, we'll see. That list will carry me well into summer, I'm sure.

But for now, I hit the road Thursday for South Carolina... see you at Nashicon!

For the sake of Twilight’s dubious mental stability, I hope you’re putting her in Magrat’s slot. Having either Esme Weathwax or Gytha Ogg as a mental guest would be a bit much...

Excellent! Looks like a good list. And it has Pratchet and Vernon so it wins.

Oh ye gods that would end badly. So so badly. Weatherwax would be worse and more stubborn than Dresden about Control, while Nanny would just leave her unable to get the Hedgehog Song our od her head. Ever.

Weatherwax? A guest? Nah, the moment she got involved it would be a story about her wandering through these books with Twilight as her passenger. Weatherwax once destroyed a voodoo doll through sheer cussedness and by sticking her hand in a lit brazier. Poor Twilight wouldn't stand a chance.

Ooh, Journey to the Center of the Earth should be interesting. Even more so because I actually know that story. By which I mean I watched the Wishbone episode on it years ago.

I think Weatherwax would be sympathetic to Twilight and try to help her undo the mess. Which would NOT stop her from cussing her out for being twelve separate kinds of idiot for causing this in the first place and giving her the lecture on Witchcraft vs Wizardry. At least she knows something about narrative magic.

Nanny Ogg would do the same, but be much nicer about it. In compensation, she would also take it upon herself to singlehandedly change the rating of the fic :p

Besides, we know from You and Tiffany Aching that even Granny isn’t immune to the Magic of Friendship. She just will never, ever admit it.

Quite the line up. I look forward to it getting to the books I've heard of. :raritywink: Of course, I'm definitely enjoying the trips through works I've never read.

Yeah, if she can transform an entire family of vampires into more Weatherwaxes, one alicorn princess doesn't stand a chance. Assuming Twilight isn't already familiar with Discworld and knows to never, ever get on Granny's bad side.

Oh my word is Twilight going to be a hamster. Is DRESDEN going to be a hamster. Is she going to continue collecting a wacky group of personalities. Maybe they will help her figure out a way to escape!
