Splatoon 2

I was already planning to pick up this game as soon as funds permitted, because missing out on the first one was my only regret for never owning a Wii U.

Now I've actually PLAYED Splatoon 2 thanks to the Free Demo Weekend. And I want it even more.

I bought the full game a few weeks ago. it kinda feels like a fusion of mario sunshine and mario galaxy

I want to like the first one, but I'm just awful at the game for some reason.

Although I've only actually tried the multiplayer so far. Maybe the single-player campaign would have been a better way to ease myself into it. Or at least, there wouldn't be any witnesses to my shameful failure.

The cool thing about Splatoon is that it's such a batshit crazy game that there's really no need to feel self-conscious about how much you suck at it, it's just a 'screw it, let's have fun' kind of thing for most players.

The controls on Splatoon 2 take some getting used to though. Yikes.

I grabbed it the other day because Walmart had it on sale. Haven’t had much time to play but fun so far. As for the controls, you can shut the motion controls off and treat more like a conventional TPS control style.
