Considering a rewrite of In old Manehattan.

I had grand ideas for In Old Manehattan.

Okay maybe not grand but at least big ideas.

Alright, not big ideas but....

Okay I had certain ideas.

I've vented my frustration about this story in few other blogs and in the end just sped wrote it to finish it and posted an apology for how rushed it was and how it initially promised something completely else than it wound up portraying.

This was originally the sequel to In the Broad daylight, my first pony story. It was supposed to continue the story of Tango and Snow Heart, deal again with Silver Axe, it was supposed to be a completely different story than it turned out to be. Instead it wound up turning more into a Barricade story, touching on how he was doing after the events of Possession in the Crystal Empire and touched on his backstory and who he used to work for.

I'm seriously considering rewriting the thing to better fit that premise because I'll be damned if I could salvage the original idea I still tried to have in it. I mean seriously, a mystery that really dosen't go anywhere and is then just instantly solved? Oy, Tango and Snow Heart are really just there and have some loose connection to Barricade's former employer. I swear I still get migraines thinking about what a mess this story turned out to be.

If I do this, I'll probably wait until I've finished The last of the Dark Ponies and Temor, want to focus for now on stories I'm at least having fun doing and are actually going according to plan.
