I doubt anyone is getting confused or liable to get confused but, for the sake of clarity, I feel I should point out that unless explicitly stated all of these Anon's I'm throwing around are all different guys.
Which means - in defiance of reason - the guy from 'Couldn't Keep His Eyes Open, Bless Him' is not the same guy from all the other Rainbow Dash ones I did. For no reason other than I didn't make it one of the sequel bits. He missed the boat!
And that's not even getting into the various named humans, who are distinct persons. For what it's worth...
Are you all following this?! You better be! There's going to be a test! All the details of my ever-expanding CANON must be respected and kept in mind at all times!

Eh, it's mainly just laziness. For me at least. I dislike coming up with names but having one is useful for narrative clarity.
One of the good things about first-person is that one can avoid naming the narrator almost indefinitely! Until they end up being called John or something.
