I could, but where's the fun in that? It's so much more fun announcing whenever I reach another power of two. Besides, it means that I can brag about having 100000000 followers. (Those that understand binary will get it.)
In any case, it now takes a full nine bits to compute the number of followers I have, or 1.125 bytes. At this stage, I'm a mere 2 bits behind good ol' Bronius. So take that, you American... guy! I'm catching up!
... Reading back on this, I'm beginning to think I have too much science in my brain. (Sigh)
