Hey Switchers, Scoundrels, and everyone noticing this little note,
Before I ramble, I want to get straight to the point. You may know An Intricate Disguise or their work. I know and enjoy their stories, even the more challenging ones, and partially that prompted me to write this.
As their latest blog advises, they need financial help, as much as can be spared if possible. I urge you to follow this link read this. You see, with their studies and family matters, money has become scarce. "So," I hear you ask, "we all have financial troubles. That's the world we live in," and I understand. If you cannot help because you do not have a cent, a penny or a euro to spare, then that's understandable. Yet, if you can give something, even something small like a note wishing him luck or a bit of small change, I'm sure it would go a long way.
It's hard to ask for help, no matter what is required. Words like 'admitting', 'weak', 'powerless', 'trouble', and 'lost' get thrown around in your mind and it stings to feel that you lost a battle or got defeated by the rest of the world. However, it is not a vulnerable thing to do. It is brave and strong, regardless of what you need help with and the outcome. Why? Because you are taking a step to show that you want to be able to repair your troubles and you just need a foothold to do so.
We all have people we love, admire, and want to see improve around us. Being unable to is the worst knife in the gut. I can say that from experience. That's why I humbly ask you, the awesome people I love who read my odd tales from time to time, to read their blog and just offer them something to keep them up, on their hooves and fighting.
A side note - When no-one else cares what you're going through, I give a shit. Please, if you EVER need someone to talk to, message me. I may not immediately reply, but I will reply when I can.
A second side note - Luna Switched. I know I keep saying this. New chapters are coming. Solid, Luna Switched's editor, is working his balls off to get it ready. It won't be long now, Syn, Solid and I promise.
