Well, this is it. The last Monday of 2018, and what a year it has been. I graduated, got a real job, bought a motorcycle, got my M class, and now I'm living pretty well. I think I learned more in this year than I ever did in school, oddly enough, and life in general has just improved a ton since I got out. I published twelve super chapters this year (in 19 parts) and I believe, based on my own estimates, I'll finish the story sometime in February, and post the epilogue some time in March or April. I still have a lot of chapters to go through and bring up to par with my current writing quality (doing a chapter or part a day since the beginning of this week) and if I keep that up, it'll take me like 12/13 weeks to get through the whole story by the time It's finished, landing me at the end of March or beginning of April.
Once Super is truly finished, I'll start two more long stories, one of which will be my last fim fic, the sequel to Super. The other will be my own original story and I'll probably try to get that one published if I can figure something out that's good enough. This year has taught me a lot about writing, and even though I've never had something really successful on this site, let's face, it, that's like rolling the dice as it is. What I learned here I think will help me write a story that really is everything I've ever wanted it to be, and the only limitation will be my creativity.
I was never popular, I don't really think I've ever had much of a following, but truth be told, I was never writing for that. I was always writing for me and for no one else. I suppose that the things I wrote just so happened to be good enough to attract a few people to them, and hey, I'm just fine with that.
One thing I certainly plan to do next year is write more short stories. I think I've got the whole 'scene creation' thing down, and maybe even taking a feeling into words, but I don't think I'm good enough at it yet. I heard rare wisdom the other day, and honestly, I wish I'd heard it a long time ago. When you do something and it's good enough to get you where you want to go, then there's no reason to change it. The biggest thing in the way of doing what you want is you. So, I'm going to stop getting in the way of myself and get better at this shit. No more 'I have to do this and I have to do that,' I'm just going to do. And that's all there is to it.
I hope you have a good new year, and may life improve for you just like it has for me. 2018 was great, so 2019 is gonna be better.

Binge it? good lord, that's gonna be somewhere in the 500K+ range. I suppose you can enjoy a solid 60 hrs of reading. This story is like, two weeks worth of book for my own reading pace.

Well, by the end of today, Origin Story (provided I didn't miss anything) should be up to par with my current writing style. Super is split into 'three' parts, but the story as a whole leans so much on itself that it's probably best read all at once. If the length still scares you though, you could try getting through Origin Story and Harmony before Persona finishes. Persona makes up about 50% of the story anyways, so you could think of it like book 1 and 2.

Not to flex but, I read Murky Number Seven (1.1 Mil words fanfic in a week,) I actually welcome stories like that when they are good, and I have read at least a dozen chapters of Super before deciding to wait.
Sad to say I waited mostly because I didn't know if it was gonna be a deadfic or not, so many great stories have died... almost brings a tear to my eye.
