Sorry for the late post, work was really getting on my case. I was so busy today, luckily I already had this piece written up long ago. The Kindest Shadow, a Murderous Shade…
Rex has gone by many titles in his five thousands years of life. Being one of the few immortals not of alicorn descendant he has been at work far too long and has done many duties for immortal and mortal alike.
Above all one title has stuck with him the most. The Warlock Knight. It was due to his proficiency in shadowmancy he earned his first titles, but it’s his rare seen use of dark magic that earns him the title of Warlock Knight.
Dark magic is so rare seen in the times of before Equestria’s rise. Someponies fear it while other deny its existence. However despite how little it is seen it does exist.
In truth though Rex would always tell that he isn’t using the dark magic, but instead it’s using him. Most are at a complete loss at these words.
One thing is certain, when a maroon glow emanates from his collarbone, from the Dark Alicorn Amulet, his dark magic is unleashed.
