Releasing a new chapter of Desert Spice in a sec. Here's a conversation I had over Discord with my editor, SNAF, as I was working on it:
SNAF: Somehow, I see Spicy being better adjusted because she hasn't had to hide it all away for her little brother's sanity.

Bugsydor: I see Aegis as someone who'd cry quietly regardless.
SNAF: The fact that Spicy could be better adjusted is somewhat terrifying.
Fair. Whatever Aegis' equivalent to bawling would be, then.
Bugsydor: Well, I am writing a fic full of maladjusted ponies.
SNAF: You do a good job of that. It's almost as if—
... hrm.
Just thought you'd all appreciate that.
Also, in case anybody missed it, SNAF and I made a huge editing pass across the entire story since the last time I added a chapter. I can confidently say it's a better story now.

As I just got back from a trip a few hours ago and am tired, I'm not sure when I'll get to the new chapter, but I expect to enjoy it. :)
