… but Emberwolf is actually-for-real almost done, and I’ve also given the rest of the story something of a clean-up. Whilst I wouldn’t call it an extensive rewrite (like, it’s not essential to go back and reread it or anything), at the same time, it’s a lot more polished now, and free of the weird little errors that were in the original. So, if you never checked this story out the first time round, now would be a good time to jump on-board: the plan is to upload the revised chapters as I finish looking over them and then post the finale. I reckon the whole thing should be on Fimfic by no later than the end of the month 
Sorry it took so darn long. But I’m excited for people to finally read the ending!!
Not much else to report. I really do wish I had more time for this place – although I don’t have the same love for MLP that I used to, even so, there are days when I miss it bitterly. There’s just… something so uniquely special about Friendship is Magic fanfics that no other genre can touch – a certain indefinable quality that, try as I might, I can never seem to recapture with any of my original fiction. And that’s to say nothing of the sheer explosion of creativity from this fandom’s early days, which I feel so damn fortunate to have experienced first-hand…
… Honestly, I’m not sure what my point here is, except to say: stay cool everypony. I know I hardly ever post here anymore, but I still think about you guys a lot.

By the way- where do you sell your original fiction?
I know the feeling. So much wonder in those early days, so much we miss and want to revive and relive. I'm the same way with fiction... Can't for the life of me get into original, myself or reading. Just doesn't have the same draw.

I don't actually self publish though I'm afraid. I'm currently in the process of trying to get a literary agent -- landing a publishing deal has been a dream of mine for years and years

Also, yeah, that sums it up well. I mean, I still occasionally find stuff -- quite a lot of stuff, actually -- which I love just as much as I loved the early seasons of Friendship is Magic. But it's also like... in terms of being part of a fandom, none of those things can even remotely match what this place meant to me circa 2012ish. It's honestly hard to put it into words. That sense of freshness and discovery and wonder.
I still love this site, of course -- there's still a mind blowing amount of talent here! But man, do I miss that old energy sometimes.
