    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

BfA so far and Blizzcon 2018 speculations · 5:51pm Oct 29th, 2018

Well, Battle for Azeroth had been out for over two months now, so I thought I would write some of my thoughts on this expansion and invite some discussion.

Soo... I love it^^ Granted, I also enjoyed Warlords of Draenor, so I am pretty easy to satisfy :twilightsheepish: I LOVE Jaina's storyline, and Kul Tiran storyline in general (heck, Drustvar storyline is easily one of my favorite zone storylines), and Zandalari storyline of course (Nazmir storyline is almost as awesome as Drustvar, and I fucking love Bwomsandi xD)^^ What I do NOT enjoy is the Horde storyline :unsuresweetie:

Seriously, first thing that comes to mind, did Rexxar suffer brain damage in Legion that I don't know about? He said that he joined the war because Jaina had returned, and although he respected her for her tough choices in Founding of Durotar, she had now "killed too many". -_- WHEN?! Literally, the only Horde members she killed were some of those that attacked Theramore, Sunreavers during Purge of Dalaran (which legitemately upset me, but even still, MOST of them had been imprisoned, not killed) and some of blood elves's forces on Isle of Thunder, and lastly some of the Horde in Battle for Lordaeron when she brought that magic flying ship. I am pretty sure people like Genn Graymane has a bigger kill count when it comes the Horde; heck, WE, the adventurers, had killed more Horde than Jaina had! Oh, but Rexxar gets better; he puts his wolf out of misery and promises that humans that wounded her will pay. Well, maybe if you invade somebody's kingdom it's a tiny bit your fault, huh?! And then they push the Kul Tirans out of their stronghold he says that "they will never take their land again". IT'S THEIR LAND YOU BRAIN-DAMAGED HALF-OGRE, YOU LITERALLY LANDED THERE A FEW DAYS AGO!!! I seriously hope this is just some lazy writing on Blizzard part, because I'd hate if I'f have to hate one of my favorite characters :facehoof: And Lillian is no better, that Scarlet Crusade harl-

Okay, now that I probably pissed off most of the Horde players (:twilightsheepish:) let me just add that I am also annoyed by the Azerite Armor system. Not as much as most, because I hadn't tried offspecing since Wrath of the Lich King, but still, it's pretty annoying.

Anyway, since Blizzcon is fast approaching, let's talk speculations!

I assume most of the people who bother reading my blogs had already heard about what's coming in patch 8.1 Tides of Vengence (the Crucible of Storms raid, Battle for Dazal'alor raid, Darkshore Warfront and Horde questline involving Saurfang and another one where we go around asking Bwomsandi, Eyir and Lich King whether they told Vol'jin to pick Sylvanas as Warchief, and a questline about that shadow priest artifact dagger that I am too lazy to look up it's name), so we won't talk too much about it (and I expect that this won't be talked much on Blizzcon, I mean, we pretty much know everything that's coming there. So I figure the subject of 8.2 will be covered in more detail, and similar how to two years ago we were teased with Argus, now we will get teased with 8.3 patch, probably either Nazjatar or maybe even Ny'alotha. Azshara will certainly be coming, we were promised that she will be the "Gul'dan of this expansion". Which I hope won't mean that she will be the end raid boss in the patch that finally makes her do shit. Regardless of what you think of Warlords of Draenor, you've gotta admit that it set up Gul'dan perfectly, we got to see him gather forces, act in the shadows and corrupt others to the point he became the major threat, and then in Legion it all paid off with him starting the next Burning Legion's invasion and becoming the end boss in Nighthold raid. While Azshara is pretty well established in the lore, in the game she didn't really do much so far. We heard a lot from the naga how she had ordered them to do this or that, and we saw her in Well of Eternity dungeon, but it doesn't compare to Gul'dan.

However, will we be going to Ny'alotha to deal with N''zoth? I don't really think so, it's more of a wistful thinking on my part. This expansion is supposed to be about the faction war after all. We might take a break to deal with Azshara, but N'zoth sounds like a threat that would deserve its own expansion. Heck, maybe Ny'alotha is so big that it could serve as an entire continent?! I mean, among all those wispers said about it, there was even mention of a forest there, from the desecrated image of Gorehowl I think. So maybe the expansion will end with N'zoth and his sunken city being raised from the bottom of the sea? Who knows...

So lets focus on this expansion. I had this crazy idea some time ago regarding where the storyline might go... and... do you think Blizzard is thinking about ressurecting Arthas? I know, crazy thought, but it stroke me as weird that they made a whole new model for him just for Jaina's visions cinematic (which was AMAZING). Why would Alliance do that, though? Well, Arthas is technically the only person who had beaten Sylvanas. Granted, with the Scourge he could simply use the tactic of sending wave after wave until they run out of arrow, but still... also, Sylvanas hates him, which is about the only emotional reaction they could get from her that they could use to their advantage. Considering what she does with Derek Proudmore, I think turnabout would be only fair.

Speaking of raising people, there are rumors of one of the new Allied Race being lightborn undead, led by Calia Menethil (read Before the Storm for details), who would join the Alliance. Another rumored race would be mechagnomes. So I'm also thinking about vrykul, or maybe drust, assuming some are alive? All for Alliance of course. For the Horde? Who cares ;p Maybe sethrak and vulpera, san'layn?

Well, those are pretty much all the thoughts I have at the moment. Sorry this isn't really constructed well or doesn't have any images of videos, but work has been keeping me busy as of late and I am super tired. I just wanted to throw some thoughts regarding future of WoW before Blizzcon will come around (and bitch about Rexxar because I literally done that part of the questline just day ago and was pissed off). Feel free to write your own thoughts so we can discuss them here^^

PS: I'm currently writing the next chapter of Rebirth of the Damned, I hope it will be finished in about two weeks, but it might get prolonged.

I doubt they would bring Arthas back so soon after Illidan but with the introduction of a certain character I am definitely expecting Bolvar to make an appearance at some point.

Oh, don't get me started on that asspull :facehoof: I mean, I like her, but this came out of nowhere

I think the Alliance will get some kind of mechagnome because there is one Questline on Kul'tiras that already mentioned that some Gnomes living there vanished without a trace and Gelbin Meccatorgue gets heavily wounded in the raid and only escapes alive being frozen by his rescue capsule but nobobdy knows how to unfreeze him. As far as my predictions go he gets turned into one himself to survive.

I play both factions but my main character is a Tauren Paladin since Cataclysm and I hate Sylvanas with a passion since she committed suicide in Icecrown and got her Val'kyr between wotlk and Cata. t least there will be only three left after 8.1 :P.

I disliked every step in the War Campaign since every NPC turned into some kind of Yes man (especially Garona who killed Anduins grandfather under mind control and wants to get a second round.....)
At least in 8.1 some Npc show their displeasure with Sylvanas actions.

This should be what the horde is about not Sylvanas Scourge 2.0:pinkiesad2:

I don't like that I had been trying for 2 weeks and couldn't get a weapon over 340. Then i got sick and stopped grinding.

Visually, the expansion is stunning. Story wise, it is horrible. I don't like the Azerite armor scheme. They should have stuck with the tiered gear system and given the Heart of Azeroth just additional stats and bonuses to all your gear as you level it.

I've been busy with my Void Elf, so I haven't done much end game content to this point, but I do have a 120 paladin. I really got kinda bummed out of the Jaina questline, requiring me to pug a mythic dungeon to continue her story. I hated that and haven't touched my paladin since. I don't think content should be gated behind mythics. Just open a dungeon at normal or heroic. I don't like mythics.

Don't mind me, I'm just grumbling at some of the decisions Blizz makes in regards to progression.

That's the horde story line...I'm glad I ditched them for the Alliance

She may even be more than just Bolvars daughter:trollestia:

Apparently a significant number of people jumped ship from WoW after BFA? Idk, this is based off, like, one video I saw from a Final Fantasy XIV content creator targeted towards WoW veterans to try and make the transition easier and get them interested in the game.

I say to Tartarus with anyone that plays Horde, they chose their side so they can suffer the consequences. First there was Garrosh in MoP & WoD and now Sylvanas in the current xpac; the Horde is plainly written as the villain and as such MUST be purged. I take IMMENSE pleasure in running with my guild to massacre every single Horde player we come across and camp them to kingdom come. Level doesn't matter, zone doesn't matter, even the capitals aren't safe from us. We find a Horde guild doing some fun little activity out in the wild, the whole guild gets camped until they log off. We are the Bringers of the Final Purge.

On another note, I'm personally hoping that Alliance gets the Sethrak, as the storyline quests show a better chance for them to lean that way than Horde, while the Volpera are most likely for the Horde for the same reasons (quests, storyline, etc.). Not to mention other smaller details such as the Volpera being built on the goblin frame while Sethrak built on Worgen frame. But those two races WILL be future playable allied races. The emotes, gestures, undergarments, and everything else that's been datamined already for both races that mere NPC races DON'T have are a clear indicator of that. Gimme my snake-people, Blizz!

Or another idea; some sort of "Traitor" system where a player can "betray" his race/faction and join the opposite side. There are already mechanics that can cosmetically change your race in the game that and the framework would be easy to implement with existing assets, i.e. the Reputation system. I'm not talking about the "paid race change", but a player character betraying his faction and joining the opposition, i.e. a Blood Elf/Tauren/whatever spits on the Horde and their lack of honor and joins the Alliance. Just saying, it would be easy and a pretty interesting thing to see implemented. We already have Pandaren on both sides, so why not?

Trust me, no one is more upset about the brain dead writing that went into the Horde's campaign than the Horde players
