On the upcoming season 2 finale of Miraculous Ladybug... (Spoilers?) · 8:07am Oct 26th, 2018

So on November 3, we get the season finale of Miraculous Ladybug.

The episode title is "Mayura".

Mayura is the name of the new supervillain who will join Hawk Moth--the user of the Peacock Miraculous.

I have three possible suspects in mind as to the identity of Mayura:

1. Kagami's mother. It would come out of nowhere, but it makes sense if you think about what little we know of her and her family--very Adrien-like.
2. Nathalie, whose role in Hawk Moth's dealings stepped up massively in "Catalyst". Who's to say when Hawk Moth is defeated by Team Miraculous, she won't grab the Peacock and step up?
3. Emilie Agreste. This one would be the curve ball of all curve balls. Suppose Hawk Moth wins, gets the Miraculous, and revives Emilie. Is everything we think we know about her a lie?

Ok, ok

Guy who posts pointless comment for no apparent reason says what?

If there is a second permanent villain joining the cast, then it is definitely beyond time they dispense with the "loaning out" of the other miraculouses and start giving them to their users on a more permanent basis. Adrian's been taken out of action right out the gate, what, at least 2 or 3 times now? One of which only didn't result in the loss of his ring only due to villian stupidity. It's getting too risky to waste time in going through the loan process every time they need backup.

That and the revelation that even active miraculous users can be akumatized, and it's only a matter of time before they get hit by a villain that won't let either of them run off to grab another miraculous, or worse, they get akumatized themselves.

The only exception would be Chloe, since she made it too risky for her to keep hers full time.

That and the revelation that even active miraculous users can be akumatized,

Not sure if that changes (My country is only 17-ish episodes in and I'm not sure if they have been monkeying with the episode order), but unless Marinette or Adrien are akumatized in the 9 episodes, Gabriel renounced Nooroo temporarily so he could deflect suspicion off of himself. The fact that he had to do that in order to be akumatized clearly shows that

Chloe, while actively using the bee miraculous, gets akumatized, meaning that, no, not even using another miraculous keeps you safe from akumatization. The only limit seems to be that he can't akumatize himself while actively using the butterfly miraculous.

Or...Akumatizing himself as Hawkmoth would of just resulted in a powered up version of Hawkmoth(since that's basically what happened with Chloe) which wouldn't have helped his cover at all.

I have a feeling things are headed in that direction. The secret's out now, it's pointless and DANGEROUS to keep all the Miraculous in one place.

Queen Bee was akumatized into Queen Wasp. Not only that, but the Miraculous itself was the Akumatized item.

Was it ever confirmed if Adrien's mom is legit dead? Also, that would be a tragic twist, but oddly fitting. What if that's the price of, say, a Miraculous being without a balancer (like how Tikki and Plagg are opposites yet balance the other out), and or using them to possibly

resurrect

people, they become twisted? Or who knows, maybe Noroo ends up evil after all is said and done

I mean, the show WAS apparently gonne be a team show, and if Alya and Chloe get their Miraculouses back (I can just see a grumpy Master Fu telling her to use it as a means of, well, causing almost all the Akumatized villains, and maybe Nino joins in somehow, then it could work, especially if threats start to ramp up

Yes. We've seen her body twice now. Gabriel is keeping her underneath the mansion.

4958636
You're pretty far behind, huh? Master Fu isn't particularly grumpy about anything, ever, is becoming more and more of a Splinter or Miyagi type mentor, and Nino is already Carapace--actually already was before Chloe became Queen Bee.

Oh, been awhile since I watched ML, though I am on Season 2

But seriously? I don't know whether that's creepy, sad, or both. I mean, at least Gabriel has somewhat good intentions....
