WELP.
Went ahead and finished Five Friendly Venoms, woo! Though I'm fairly sure the whole half dozen people who actually read The Flash Sentry Papers have already noticed that already. Still, those half dozen people seem to have enjoyed it, so I guess I did something right. I had intended to finish that story about a month ago, buuuuut well, what can you do.
And, as per the usual, I still have more vague ideas for more Flash Papers stories ... sometime in the future. (Spoiler alert: Flash will get drunk and blunder into trouble). But! 'til then, I've got another mane 6 based pony story pretty well mapped out. (Spoiler alert: there will be snappy dialogue and Rarijack silliness).
This said, I make no promises as to just when this silly pony story will be produced-- I've got a teeny bit written out so far, but I've got a bunch of other stuff on my plate at the moment.
Including, I should note, some stuff for National Write a Novel Month. Which ... well, I expect to burn out around 20,000 words or so (which is, coincidentally, the average length of a Flash Sentry Papers story). But at least I'm fairly excited for this go-round at NaNoWriMo. It'll have giant robots! And, y'know, as 'original' fiction it may be the sort of thing that people will want to pay me money for and/or will get a big sprawling movie deal and will become a big blockbuster that people will watch and say "oh man the book was better."
I mean, hey, a man can dream, right?

Now that we know Flash Magnus is a member of the guard as of Rockhoof And A Hard Place it would be fun if he had an assignment together with his probable descendant. A self admitted "coward," having to work with the Pillar of Courage has comedic potential written all over it.

Both happy the current story has completed, but sad the current story has ended. Looking forward to the next (drunken) flight of fancy. Though, if Flash is smart, he'll fly AWAY from Fancy (Pants).
