IN WHICH IT'S NEARLY OVER

It's unfortunate that only a dozen people read my blog, otherwise I'd link the Victorian Romance Emma kickstarter that's going on until 11am CDT 2018/10/18. It reached its initial goal of funding an HD conversion and English dub for the first 12 episodes, but there's still another $55,000 to go in order to be able to fund the last 12. It's not looking promising, but I hope full funding happens. I love love love this series so much and have for well over a decade.
I've finally started rewriting my story where Rarity and Sunset finally get together. I'm not looking at the original draft at all for the time being because (1) I know it's shit, and (2) I want to see where my brain, saddled with an additional year of continuity and experience, takes the story.
One thing I've noticed is that Sweetie Belle is a lot snarkier in the rewrite. I can't really blame her, given how many times she's borne witness to her sister's histrionics. I look forward to rewriting their heart-to-heart.
I honestly don't expect a lot of change in the second chapter: a diary conversation between Sunset & Pony Twilight. Except I intend to add in Twilight getting pissy about Sunset's indecipherable Runic message in Recovery.
At least one reader often complains about how I characterize Twilight, saying I make her "a terrible person". I'm not going to deny this, but at the same time, the Twilight from my Mayor Mare stories (an outright antagonist) is not the same Twilight from my Sunset stories (a well-meaning but sometimes annoying friend). And neither of them are anything compared to Sci-Twi.
Damn I wish I could let y'all look into my head so you can see what I have planned for that girl. A tiny part of it has already been revealed, if you know where to look.
And then there's "Palm LeBoop", whose name has been uttered maybe once if at all but is possibly the most important character in EQG world after Sunset herself. I simply haven't gotten to the stories that truly introduce her.
I had a heavy supper so I'm sleepy. The flea problem I had seems to have resolved itself so I cancelled a flea spray and boarding for my cat. Hopefully it'll stay that way. I should gym tonight, or write, but I wanna sleep.
