DRAGON PILOT: Hisone & Masotan · 7:34pm Sep 28th, 2018

What if I told you that there's a new Anime series out on Netflix, for all you fans out there of mecha, dragons, and vore? :rainbowderp:

And it's freaking adorable? :rainbowkiss:

Full disclosure: 'Only' seen two episodes yet, but considering that's a sixth of the episodes out right now (IE, 12) I felt confident enough I've been enjoying it to recommend it to you guys.

Oh, two three things: 1,) the way this thing does character growth is to front-load THE most annoying character traits, ramp them up to eleven, and then have the character go through something that makes them start acting (slightly) saner and/or adult. It... well, works, but it made me nearly turn of the first episode quite a few times.

Even by episode two that aspect got better, so thought it deserved mention to hang in there.

2,) There's a lot of humor in this based on the dragon looking adorable, right before (non-lethally) eating the main character or puking her up.

As somebody that's a on-off anime fan enough to recognizance some of the tropes in the 'girl with magical pet that grants her special powers' sub-genera, the juxtaposition of how these particular girls actually power up slash bond with their mon' made me laugh my ass off...

But I recognizance that there's people out there more squeamish then I am. So fair warning.

3,) The premise & trailer sounds like something from an action show, but it's actually more of a slice-of-life comedy in a military setting. If that's a con or a pro I leave to you, but, again, fair warning.

Anyway, on NetFlix if any of you got curious. It's not perfect by any means, but you have to respect a show with a premise this bonkers.

I have heard good things about Dragon Pilots. A couple of my friends have recommended it to me due to the detailed setting and the interesting relationships between pilots and dragons, especially with the classic "love makes you lose your powers" thing; the pilots' bond to their dragons breaks if they form relationships. It seems like it's been getting pretty popular.

Which is to say, this is a dragon vore corps war story about dinosaurs who adore but cause an uproar if their girls see anyone more and refuse to soar. Those who deplore lore will abohre the postwar rapport galore but the fans want to see more of what's in store. :trollestia:

well shoot, another reason to get netflix i suppose, maybe i;ll steal my sisters login...

well... that's something.

I'm not sure "cute" is the word but it'll do.

Haven't gotten that far yet, but that seems to align with the 'Priestess' talk, and seems like a nice bit of conflict for later. Makes at least a token amount of sense that a magical creature that uses their stomach so heavily might find non-virgins revolting, or something.

It's only 12 twenty-ish minute episodes, at least at the moment. Might convince your sister and/or a friend to make a movie night out of it.

Second episode intro... Like WOAH dude! Seriously, she's gotta be like 16.

WOAH DUDE! Duuuuuude!!

Pedo alert!

Apperently the whole (main, human) cast is around the twenty mark. At least according to a video review I saw.

...Not that sexual harassment is in any way better, of course, but Japan has... rather infamous problems with that, to put it mildly.

Damn, it passed the goosebumps test. Guess I have to watch it now.
