UPDATED ERROR:Glitched Stitches Aftermath · 4:50pm Aug 19th, 2018

So I just found out Lightning Dust is going to show up in Season 8, and soon. Needless to say, this made my creative juices flow a mile a minute, and I came to the realization that this can only mean one thing.

The new Glitched Stitches, the one that gets written, will not be the same as my original vision. That vision was created with the idea that LD would not come back for a very long time, and would stay with Babs in the Motherboard until the end as Coco returned to the simulation. It was a slice-of-life story with a sci-fi backdrop, where CocoBabsLightning would piece together their troubles and overcome them as a makeshift family.

But now that Lightning gets unglitched, too? That means the reason why Babs was in a capsule is far, far more sinister now. That means this filly is going to lose both the friends she made, possibly have them lose their memories of her for good...and this may or may not have been what the creators intended all along.

In other words, I’m going to write Lightning’s part how I would have before, and instead of the fluff I was planning for Part Four, things are going to be a lot different. There’s going to be a few more parts, a lot more action, and a lot more questions to come.

In other words, by the time this story’s through, it might not have a SoL tag anymore. Buckle up, my friends, because Glitched Stitches is about to go full sci-fi.
