Jeeze, it's dusty as heck in here, ain't it? Been far too long since I last posted a blog, or done much of anything here to be honest! But, that all changes today!
So, first, a quick status update and review of things, because why not.
I've spent the past.... two years? Yeah, two year since my last major story published holy crap! I've spent those past two years attempting to actually, you know, make a name for myself. I've tried doing freelance stuff, and that's kinda not panned out, and I've also tried commission stuff, which didn't really get any attention. But, then I oddly enough got snatched up by an indie game start up, which is so far looking good, so with some luck that'll pan out!
I've also spent basically two years paling around with other authors here on Fimfiction, mostly Monochromatic and Carapace (Because they're awesome), and more or less just reading their stuff and being in total awe of their amazing talent. Seriously, go read their stuff (Unless you found me through them, in which case I am totally not as good as them, but welcome to my little corner of the ponyfiction!) then you really already do read their stuff and I'll not bother you about it.
Anyway, now for the thing you all likely (hopefully) came here to read about.
TODAY, on the day of my birth (I turned 27 today 
) I am publishing a new story!
Hold your applause, please.
That story is titled "Broken Crystal" and will detail the love between Sombra and Celestia, as well as Sombra's fall into darkness, the fall of the Crystal Empire to that darkness, and Celestia and Luna's defeat of Sombra. Plus, perhaps, some more stuff that you'll have to find out for yourself! This story is the latest in the long line of me and my group attempting to write in Calm Wind's universe, and also marks the first real major and obvious break from his canon. For those of you who read his stuff, you'll know what we're breaking in his lore rather easily, for those who don't, I'd suggest you read his stuff to find out (Specifically the story Pierce the Heavens), or PM me if you think that 1.8m is too many words to look through. Suffice to say, I'll explain as best I can, or you can just enjoy the lore we're crafting!
But expect to see this new story in an hour or two!

Good to see you back. Sorry the freelancing and commissioning didn't work out. It sounds like what you're doing now might be what you're meant to do and there's no reason you can't continue to write for pleasure or even self-publish one day.

HOnestly, it's mostly my fault. I didn't really advertise a lot, so not a lot of people knew about me xD
I figure, I can pick up where I left off when things settle down, and more people might know about me by then.
BUT UNTIL THEN! I wrote a Sombra story!
