Time for another update!
Okay so when there's a bit less to report, I think two weeks works better than one, so sometimes I'll skip a Friday. That just means things are a bit slower that week.
Three things to report this week. First, BDK has just released the next page of the Black Feather comic. Some ominous liberties were taken in Luna's personal sleep, as she apparently had at least one good dream and one not so good dream. Who is that stern looking stallion in her dream from when she was a filly? You'll find out as the story progresses! Also, who doesn't love some good pirate Woona fantasy with Tibbles? 
Second, I posted Chapter 8 - The Moon Princess. This is some of my best characterization to date. I'm extremely proud of how well the emotional flow of the chapter turned out. Here, Luna bares her soul to Nyx, and we find out what has been burdening the princess of the night in recent months. Luna and Celestia have had to make some difficult decisions about how to handle the war. Additionally, Nyx reveals her nightmares to Luna, who has some very sobering words of caution to give her in response.
Third, real life has gotten a bit more complex and busy for me the past couple weeks. I got a puppy, and many of you know that this requires some temporary redirection of priorities and time. Not to fear, things are still progressing with the project nicely. Lately I've spent a bit more time helping Duvet with Flurry In Time. I've also got rent inspection coming and some taxes I had to focus on. Just a bunch of catch-up stuff I've been neglecting. I haven't started with my refurbishing of chapter 9 yet, but it is coming soon. That chapter needs a bit more help as currently, I am not happy with the prose. It feels amateurish and I know I can do better. Will go into more details in the next blog.

Everything is being posted on the Black Feather Project Forum on Fimfiction during development. All news, updates, art, and chapters will be available from there. Please join and read the description of that forum group as well as this post if you've been with us for a while and are wondering what is going on. Everything is explained in the forum.
I also recommend reading my past Friday Update blogs to see how all of this has developed.
The short of it is that the old original story has been entirely rewritten and will begin being republished on Fimfiction as a brand new trilogy when book one is finished.
can i ask you something? i kinda want to see how some historical events will work in the equestrian universe, so can i ask you to try and rewrite the attach on Luna's school to be similar to the battle on little big horn, and to include a battle in this story that mimics the battle of Agincourt? if not can you try to make short stories that are not in black feather universe but that there are a perfect copy of some historical events like the ones mentioned, again i just want to see how they will work in the equestrian scenery
PS: if you don't want Little big horn for the school attack you could do Pointers or the first battle of Napoleon, the siege of Toulon.

Can you please stop making suggestions for the story that don't make any sense or deviate severely from the context?
I've tried explaining to you multiple times already that the Harmony Universe is extremely complex and detailed and everything is designed to fit together. This is not the kind of storytelling platform that is made for weird random "what if" ideas.

ok the thing with the inspiration from historical moments was to make the war on zebras more believable for example the siege on Toulouse and battle of Little Big Horn could actual be combined to make the face that a small fraction of zebras took the school Luna founded, the battle of Agincourt and to an extension Waterloo could prove that without dumb luck the equestrians might not survive a battle with the zebras also could prove that the zebras can make so the pegasy and most of the unicorns become useless, but it's your story and universe. Besides i said the if you don't want to include them in the Harmony universe, to actually try to do them in an separate universe

The zebra war is already 100% believable. We spent months in discussion making sure that this war made perfect sense from a plausibility and progression standpoint. Inserting some random conflict from human history would not fit at all.
Also, the Brumby Ridge massacre has already been designed. I have told you this before. Do not suggest changes to it. Especially bizarre changes that make no sense.
Let me make this perfectly clear:
The Harmony Universe is original. It unfolds naturally based on its own characters and circumstances. It is not meant to bear resemblance to any actual historical event. It is not an experimentation ground to try out random storytelling ideas. It is a fully designed story in itself, and it is not open to modification.
So please... stop asking me to write bizarre stuff into the story. It does not fit and it makes no sense. This is the last time I want to say this to you. Further instances of this will, regrettably, result in
a banyou being ignored. If it gets bad enough, a ban might be called for. I just have very little patience for people who refuse to listen.That's your call if you want to write such a thing. I've told you twice now that I already have more to write than I can handle, and I have no interest in taking on random writing requests. Please don't ask me to write your specific story. I don't do that kind of thing. My plate is already overflowing with the stuff I've got. You can write your own stories.
