i. having been working. on this same story. for three years. (maybe longer my memory's crap)
it's getting a little ridiculous at his point, i managed to smooth out some major plot holes that i didn't bother thinking about for some reason and banged out like 5 chapters but i'm terrified to post them because i have been guilty of posting stuff and then losing steam. plus i'll be starting full-time college soon and my free time will be spotty at best.
but i'll have to get around to it soon. the planning of the story is getting to the point where i'm doing backstory work for characters that don't even appear in it and spending forever picking out the perfect names and features for them.
this is a story i've worked ridiculously hard on though and i want it to see the light of day before i just say "eh, nobody but me's gonna see this anyway" and chuck it into a forgotten folder, never to be seen by human eyes again
the first chapter's pretty human in equestria backstory-heavy because it's not just "blank slate dude a brony can project himself onto goes to equestria and hangs out with rainbow dash, brags about how cool humans are, maybe saves equestria" fic. the main character has stuff going on and i want people to enjoy reading her and the story she lives in.
plus there is a mystery to follow in it although i think it won't be too hard for folks to solve, but it might catch someone by surprise and that'll be good enough for me.
