Every author draws inspiration from those they have read. Today I wish to thank those who inspired me to write, inspired me to tell my stories. While I can't place a list of every author, I wish to give a very special thanks to three people. They wrote the first fanfictions I ever read and I wish to thank them.

I forgot one, the person who got me involved in this community! The reason I forgot was I didn't red there story I listened to it on YouTube. This was the very first MLP story I ever found and to this day is one of my favorites.
Okay so this is old i know but i was just made aware of this and i have to say.

I found Soldier of Magic when you were just finishing up The Princess and the Soldier . Every day I would hurry home from school or work and see if you had updated any of your stories. However what really made me respect you was the level of detail and your dedication to make the story fit so well together.
Also, in a small way you helped me get through a depression I had been in during that time. You gave me something to focus on rather than the pain and when I finally recovered I knew I wanted to be a writer. When a child is saved by a doctor they want to be like them, when a child sees a teacher happily teaching the next generation they want to do that. Or perhaps, when a writer helps you through a depression and you want to help others like you were helped. In all honesty I'm a crap writer and I know it but as I've said before if I can make even one person happy that's all I need to keep going because I made that person smile.
Soldier of Magic was the third story I ever read on FimFiction and is to this day one of my favorites, I've probably reread that story as well as all the others about a hundred times by now and each time it still makes me laugh at the the funny stuff and cry at the sad.
Thank you Scorch215, without you I would never have been inspired to write.

well.....uhh....going to be totatlly honest here but i havent a clue what to say in the slightest....weird since having things to say is pretty much my whole deal but.....i really had no clue i'd had such an effect on anyone.
I pretty much just watched a Pony SFM video and it got me thinking what could cause some on to behave like the one pony in the video and just went from there.
Just sort of documented their story as it unfolded......never actually thought it would take off like it did much less do what it did for you....seriously....i'm touched and just....glad i was able to help you through a bad time with my little fic and also glad to hear more people are into writing.
I havent read your work but i will say your most recent fic honestly caught my attention from the description as it sounds quite interesting, not to ention looking at your other work i see you are popular so i'm honestly honored to have inspired what looks to be a skilled writer to take up the craft.
and it is a craft, people don't just instantly be a perfect writer, just look at all the grammar and spelling errors that ar throughout my series.
Whats important is you enjoy what you are doing and the stories you are telling.
Anyways....thank you for this honor....truelly this is an honor. I only hope you can continue to enjoy the series as it progresses.
