So, I've recently joined yet another secret society, as is my wont, dedicated to the Purple Girlfriends (aka the good ship RariTwi). An initiative was started to produce regular RariTwi content, bringing together lovers of the ship into one collaborative effort.
The plan is to have weekly RariTwi prompts that people can write for (details can be found here) and then to compile all the entries into one place for convenient reading.
The first week of entries just went up, based on the prompt "Mortal Enemies," and includes an entry by yours truly. There are some vastly talented authors submitting stories to this collab, who have produced quality work, and I implore you to read them all.
As for my own entry, I had a ton of fun writing a cyberpunk, non-shipping story in a futuristic EqG verse where megacorps fight for control of the nation and Twilight and Rarity get to play a little politics against each other. I'd also like to think of this story as an AU of my story I Don't Need Magic, set in a future where Twilight didn't turn away from magic.
Anyways, I hope you check out the story, and I look forward to bringing you another entry next week, one that is incredibly silly but that I also had a blast writing.
