I will ask this though (On Scrappy)

I have some ideas of what to use him for. However I'm not really sure how this reader base feels about him. Any ideas would be appreciated. While I may not use any of them, they will help steer me in the right direction.

Personally, I have a soft spot for the more simple minded characters, even more so when they exhibit savant level abilities like Scrappy with his mastery of chess. Makes me wonder what else he could be capable(or be better than Anon at)

I suppose I'm in the minority here when I say that I just didn't find myself liking Scrappy all that much. Personally, though, I may have just related to Anon a bit much. A little hard headed arrogance here and there and all that. Regardless, that's just how I feel, I suppose.

He may have been a little dumb, but I can personally say I enjoyed the chapters with him. Maybe you could use him as the kind of character who gives sound advice, even though he's dumber than a sack of bricks. Or he could just be a someone Anon uses to cure a disease for the new Hive/prank the new Hive???

Now that Chrysalis isn't around, Scrappy can actually get some character development that isn't "Yay Chrysalis! Boo ponys! _{Except master Applebloom and friends.}" Cause that's really all I remember him for.

I don't really care what you do with Scrappy. I actually preferred the old captain as a character to Scrappy, but that's only in comparison. Taking everyone into account, the only characters I really liked were Chrysalis, Discord, and, of course, Anon. Everyone else was essentially just filler until I could get back to one of the beforementioned characters for me, though I did enjoy Twilight more than most.

He's not a terrible character though he does seem like he's just in the background. I dont have a preference for him.

I'm not a fan of scrappy I find him a nucience and in my own opinion is more annoying than scrappy from Scooby-Doo but that's just me
