Even the Former Changeling Queen deserves a Second Chance · 9:03pm Apr 29th, 2018
Come on everyone, at least give her a Second Chance.....
"Jimmy Hook's the Name, Transformations is my Game" (Victim of The Cursed Gift since September 2016)
Come on everyone, at least give her a Second Chance.....
I would give her a second chance, yep.
And a hug!

:)
I personally like her being evil and I like her as a character. Reforming her would be RUINING her. Some characters will always be better as villains, Chrysalis and Tirek are two prime examples of that.

...
you're wrong...
4850091
Ruin her? How would that be, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm all for it I just hope Hasbro does it in a believable way.

No idea where the "Ruining a character" section was...
4850101
ok =)
4850091
I agree with this guy.
Chrysalis begging forgiveness and claiming to have seen the light is as preposterous as seeing the Joker or Emperor Palpatine beg forgiveness for their actions.
Some villains genuinely ENJOY being evil. They don't give a shit about others and only care for themselves and their own desires.
I hate to be that guy, but I really cannot see Chrysalis reforming.
4850092
How is that person wrong? Because they shared a different opinion?
Keep in mind, they did so in a pretty respectful, non-aggressive manner. There was no rudeness or insult attached, just the statement that they think Chrysalis' reformation is not something they can ever see happening.
Nothing wrong with that, if it was said in politeness.
4850126
-sigh- look. I just don't like people saying that Villains will remain Villains forever. It makes no sense. :(
4850132
I can get that frustration.
But, I'm sorry, there really are some characters and some deeds that are just too vile to walk back from.
Don't think that because I say "Chrysalis can't be reformed" means that I think ALL villains can't be reformed. I'm not Starswirl.
I just get frustrated, because I've dealt with some people who bend over backwards to apologize for the most horrible deeds committed by villainous characters.
Forgiveness should be considered, but there is a point of no return. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

... :(
4850144
Need a hug? My arms are open.
4850155
ok :3
4850175
*hugs*
4850144
Look, I'm sorry that we disagree on this.
But I will respect your own view on this subject, even if I don't agree with it.

What I don't get is why people want to see her reformed. Reforming villains gets very old and I think Chrysalis would be better left off as her true self, evil. So many of them have been reformed or in the case of Sombra, killed.
The Dazzlings were likely a one and done, I never see them returning to Equestria Girls which is sad because they are the best thing EqG ever gave us in my opinion. Tirek is locked away in Tartarus but from what I understand he will be returning and of course Chrysalis will be showing up later this season. I say it is best to leave Chrysi evil and always have her be a threat looming in the shadows, just biding her time to make Equestria pay for her prior defeats.

Well, on one level, I *can* kind of see the appeal of it. People like a cool villain, and most of us like to think that no one is completely evil... The problem, though, is that some people want to see the villain reformed, and end up making excuses for their actions to justify why they should be forgiven or something.
"Oh, Chrysalis just wanted to feed her people" and such. Which is just plain ironic, since we know now that she was actually starving them in order to hoard all the love energy they took for herself.
On its own, there's nothing wrong with wanting to believe that someone can change. But you have to take into account a lot of things: their actions, their intent, the scope of their crimes...
Redemption and forgiveness are tricky subjects, to say the least.
4850180
i guess...
4850177
:3
4850193
No hard feelings, I hope? ^_^
4850182
It may sound strange, but I actually wanna see how Chrissy looks if she is reformed.
You may not like her being reformed, but "ruining her"? No offense, mate, but that sounds awful.
4850196
Yeah. No hard feelings :)
I'll hold off until the season 8 finale before I cast my vote.
4850231
ok...
Will forgive.
Will NOT forget.
... only if she proves it by going friendship rainbow colors and shit
4850091
Agreed. Not to pick a fight tho.
4850325
ok...
4850349
ok.
4850411
...
'No Second Prances'! It's okay, Chrysalis, I forgive you. Just... Make more of an effort in future, 'kay?

:)
The big issue with that is that she doesn't WANT a second chance. Starlight already offered her that and the princesses and Mane 6 would have forgiven her, and so would I, but she rejected it. Like Sombra, Tirek, and the Storm King I don't think she has it in her. There are redeemable villains and then there are pure evil villains.
Even if she does reform, while everypony will certainly forgive her, like Luna and Sunset, she'll have a hard time forgiving herself since she's far more evil than they were. Except when Sunset was a demon, and look how long it took her to get over that.
But, in that picture, she does. (Let me guess, then she meets Fluffle Puff)
4850182
As long as she doesn't win down the road. She'll do horrible things to Fluttershy if she does. Do you honestly want her to... there are so many ways she could torture or kill Fluttershy. Or Rainbow Dash. Or the CMC. Or any of our favorite ponies
The show's ending soon, if she remains on the loose by the end of Season 9, who's to say she doesn't get her revenge immediately after that episode and that's the hidden reason why it ended there, coz it was too violent to be shown even with how mature MLP's been getting lately?
If nothing else she'll wait till the Mane 6 get old and then exact her revenge, coz changelings are immortal, as I can't think of any other way she could have survived that explosion. (Ooh, that means Ocellus will outlive the other Young 5, except maybe Smolder)

Evil Chrysi winning is something that will likely only be in the realm of fan fiction. Besides, if she was to do anything bad to anypony, it would be Starlight given she has vowed revenge.
4863653
That's why it wouldn't be in the show. But I meant after the show ends.
And it would probably cause Starlight more pain to torture or kill her friends in front of her.
