For Future Reference. An explanation of the last half of the story in full (spoilers ahead) · 2:20am Apr 12th, 2018
So, let me just make a blog i can point to in case anyone has any questions about the final chapters questionable choices (I know I've explained the other Anon enough times, even within an author's note). This is basically a quick reference guide in case you have any obvious criticism that I already share about this story. Ok, so here we go.
The X-Captain: More on his mannerisms rather than his return....again. Originally, when he got nuked, I wanted him to stay dead, in a way to cement how dangerous Chrysalis had become personality wise. But, eventually, he does return. Many of the original readers felt it was too dark for the story (which is fucking weird because 4chan). So I brought him back. Given I felt it was asinine to want him to live, I subtly gave him the personality of a typical shitposter. No one caught on.
The parenting classes. I wanted to get back to more slice of life stuff with Anon and Discord, but nobody wanted that or the payoff I had in mind. So it just ends. And at this point, I wanted to end the story, which results in the ending you'll see soon. If you care to know the ending, the next spoiler will have it

Anon loses. He fails to reform Chrysalis and she gets away, pissed off that her hive got reformed. This was my way of ending the story because at that point the story had lost it's full focus and deviated from my original vision. Many found it lukewarm and disappointing. But to me, his loss was representative of me losing control of a story i obsessed to make good and keep in canon as much as possible.

With the ending stuff finished. I could write singular adventures for Anon. And even some future stories with his children. In fact, the story's original ending was just an abrudt end with him reading the story to his kids.
Illustrious Rich, Anon's middle son, who we will see in the "Future Story Compilation", is a parody of the other Anon. I was kinda angry with the other story writer for overdoing it with his part of the soft crossover. So I made Anon's middle child a hateful spiteful version of his Anon. He's not heartless, but he is a little shit.
