Small Snippet For Next MFL Chapter!

"You'll wait here and be grateful that I find no cause for you to have an accident creature," she said, sneering.

I didn't know if it was instinct or a mixture of my newfound magic or...or something else.

    Mated For Life RETURNS!

    Finally, fucking finally!

I've finally managed to find the time to re-read the entire story up until The Abandoned chapter.

As such I now have both the information, feel and motivation to continue the epic tale of Richard and Chrissy.

    Here's a small sneak-preview -

"What in the hell is going on here?" I asked, eyes wide as I took in the frankly terrible sight.

If I Might Ask A Question, My Old Friends? · 9:49pm Apr 11th, 2018

Recently and unfortunately currently, I had the misfortune to be blessed with tonsillitis. My symptoms upon gaining this were fatigue, headaches, an impossibly sore throat, and a very intense fever.

However, during illness I found myself visited one night by a very strange fever dream. I've had a couple in my life, most of them forgettable. But this one took me by surprise and has lingered with me for a couple of days.

In it, I am standing alone amongst a dark pit. There is nothing around me but bleak emptiness.

And then out of nowhere, I see the familiar form of one Princess Celestia walking towards me. Her words are difficult for me to remember, but I do recall this.

She was pleading with me to write her again, to write her in any of my stories. All I can remember after that is waking up and her words refusing to leave me for the rest of the day.

I don't know if this is my subconscious telling me to do this, or simply the deranged machinations of my inner mind, starved as it is from writing nowadays.

The question I pose to you, my friends, is this.

Do I respond in positive...or leave it be?

A part of me wants to, badly. I've found that my daydreams are once again being filled with her and a random OC, doing anything from dancing to laughing to loving to being truly happy.

But a more rational part of me is saying I should leave it be, that I am gone from this place now and to return would do nothing for me.

Damn...what do I do?

Do what your heart is telling you. If you feel the need to write about horses then do so, but if you think it would be an actual detrimental experience then don't.

I hope you do continue writing. I will honestly say it was your stories that got me interested in this site so, please pick it up again. If Luna has done the same to me, I'd do as she asked.

I think that some times in life you have to do irrational things to feel alive and well. i think that at times when your mind (or what have you) gives you a sign like that and you want to do it. you should at least do a little bit, and if you like what comes of it. then why not do more? If it were me, that's how i would do it. i don't know if this helped, but i think you should at least try for a little happiness in this cruel and bittersweet world. you are good at writing and i would like to see some work from you. but if you do want this and you do a little bit to test the waters and its a good thing but yet you still want to stay away. well its your life, i wont tell you how to live it nor try to. i am just trying to help you make a decision. I hope to see that what ever you choose, something good comes of it.

Its really all up to you to think about returning to writing again if you see yourself enjoying it. I know you would like to stem away from it but there really isn't anything wrong to try again really. I say give yourself some time to think upon the matter and see what you would like to do.

Just make sure this scenario of yours doesn't end up you somehow teleporting to Equestria because it sounds like a shitty intro to a rushed HIE fic :raritywink:

I will never ever write that shit, EVER! :pinkiesick:

If you're getting lucid dreams like that, try to write it down, even if you never publish it, you can recall the details more clearly, and perhaps gain inspiration again.

I was insanely ill at the time. I'd need to be so again to achieve it, so...maybe some other time :)

Me alegra que no lo harĂ¡s

Good we think of the same thing.

If your heart truly wants to write horsewords again, do so. If not, just remember: While the call of the ponies may occasionally fade, it never truly leaves.

It's all about listening to what your heart is telling you. If that what this is then go for it.

I think you're well-rested and could write something light and fluffy for dear ol' Celly.

Perhaps your muse wants you to write something like that?

Just did a little tidbit. Might do more, have a read on my latest blog.

Thanks for letting me know.

Left you a comment there.

It wouldnt hurt if you happened to come back, even if temporarily. After all, what do you have to lose? If its having adverse affects on you, simply leave. If not, I'm sure nobody would mind having you back here again.

I don't know if I'm really qualified to give my opinion, but here it is anyway:

If you've ever seen the moving Sister Act 2, Woopie Goldburg gives a bit of a life lesson: if you wake up in the morning and all you can think about is writing, then you are a writer. From what you've said, a deep part of you want to write, and wants to write ponies. Denying that part of you isn't making you happy.

Ultimately I'd say to do what you feel would make you most happy, what you'll regret the least. Personally, I say maybe try your hand at writing again, see where it takes you. Whether it's something short and sweet or turns into something long and grand, just see where your mind leads you. Sorry to hear you were ill, but I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!

I've dearly missed your work good writers of yandere are few and far in between but as much as I enjoy your writing if you continue it should be because you want to not out of our demands either way you have my support you've talent few can match

as chancellor palpatine once said, DO IT.

Would you deny your muse?

I can honestly say you're one of my favourite authors, right up there with others such as 'getmeouttahere'. You don't owe us anything and I'd understand perfectly if you didn't want to write, but as a fellow writer from another website, I understand how the urge to write never truly lets go. It's like an addiction, something that your body thinks it needs; you can subdue the cravings and ignore the urges, but they're still there, wriggling away in your subconscious and making themselves known whenever your mind wanders. You might lose your muse, but your muse never loses you. Even if your biggest, earliest, and most explosive ideas have already been used up by your existing stories, the drive to create will never leave.

I would love to see more from you - continuations of existing works, but I'll understand if the reality simply doesn't match up with what the writer in your head wants you to do. Life rarely lines up with our expectations and desires, but sometimes... it does. Whatever you choose, I wish you luck.

Word of advice. You should not ask your loyal and devoted fans who love your stories whether they would like you to come back and write more. We might not be the most unbiased party. lol

Well! That...That's interesting. The fever dream part. For personal reasons that I won't get into here. Anyways, .

Although, I'm not the most impartial party, as I find that most stories that I read nowadays are from days dead and gone, and most of those are incomplete, which, if you look at my profile, you'll find just how much that pisses me off, and if you do come back, I will have the excitement of good stories that will be updated...semi-regularly?

Hmm never you say I know it technically wasn't rushed and has a story behind it and wasn't a self insert but what about the dissarin series

So as I was reading this post, the ad at the bottom is part of a webcomic, and it says, "Psychopath?" and so I think, "The computer thinks you lost your marbles!"

Also, you don't want to piss off a ~2,000 year old, sun moving goddess, do you?

Even though it's been 2 years my advice is to write as it will not only affect you but us as readers:scootangel: for the better.
