Late February Update (as well as some venting) · 6:23pm Feb 21st, 2018
Hello once again! The days and months seem to just fly by. Let's start of by me saying I'm sorry for not working on my stories as much as I should have been. Things are going, not the greatest. My living situation as some may know is, tense at best. Basically me and my Girlfriend live in my parent's basement, in a kind of small house for 6 people. That's why for most of the end of January and some of the beginning of this month, we were out scouring for places to rent.
The only problem is, we both have a car. And as a musician, I'm really against living in an apartment building. That leaves basement apartments (separate from the home owners) or even houses to rent for the time being. But that makes another problem. Money. With both of us having racked up a few, debts... It's been hard to try and figure out if we could afford living on our own while still trying to pay our bills. TL;DR we can't. So we decided to get our bills paid off that we can first, then we will be looking for a place for hopefully June.
Now, what will happen when we DO get our own place? More ponies! I don't need to be constantly worried about being interrupted during my writing time. (It happens more then I'd like) I will be able to dedicate more time to this side project that I truly adore doing. And I'm hoping to be able to do streams, whether it's just games, me streaming while I'm writing anything! It's just been an idea I've been pondering for a while. So it's anyone's guess if it'll pan out. (Let me know if you'd like to see me stream!)
Anyways, let's get to the part you most care about. My stories. A Sparkle of Love is being worked on. It'll have at least 3 more chapters, the second of which I'm working on right now. Here's a little sneak peak!
Velvet has stopped crying, now opting to nuzzle into your shoulder while her hooves gently grip your shirt. “Right... Lets just get home. Now, hold still please.” She says softly while her horn lights up brightly. With a quick burst of magic and a blinding light the coldness of winter is brushed off as the warmth of her castle surrounds you. Now that you're back in the castle; in the main room to be exact; you can finally let out the breath you've been holding. Twilight seems a bit unnerved by what happened as she heads out of the room. “I'll get the rest of the things, I'll meet you two in the entertainment room in a bit.”
Someone made Velvety pony sad.
As I'm writing this, the chapter has 2.3k words. It'll probably be about double that when it's done.
Moving on to another very important thing that happened, I got an Editor! BlazingMoon will be editing/pre-reading all my stories, so hopefully it means better quality stories and less errors in them!
