If it is a prequel then why does it say that you have to read it's sequel first?

Because it's a prequel about a specific character in the first book. The 'important' one. The one that's revealed at the end of Lovie Dovie. I'm not saying it for obvious reasons.
I can word it differently with a new blog but I'm not sure how.

If it's about a character introduced at the end, then it needs to be a side story, but that's my thoughts.
