The deadline has come, and the results are in! Over 140 people voted ... I'm flattered that so many people care what I write next enough to take several minutes just to have a small effect on it!
I wish I had time to write four of them like last time, but this time it's in the middle of school, and I can only add so much to my workload.
Anyway, here's your winner:
Sex Ed: Pony Style (6.324): [NSFW] Rather than doing a new idea, work on getting Sex Ed: Pony Style done faster
The runner up (which won't be written yet) is:
Roleplay (6.053): [NSFW] Cadance is down for some kinky roleplay in the bedroom -- pretending that she's actually Chrysalis in disguise. But Shining Armor doesn't know that Cadance went above and beyond, getting the real Chrysalis involved. The roleplay is more accurate than he'd ever guess.
The highest SFW story (which I'll try to make time for, but no guarantees) is:
Badass Nightmare (5.767): Equestria is on the verge of being conquered; there is no hope... until Luna goes Nightmare Moon to kick some antagonist ass!

interesting, but hey at least you haven't abandoned us like so many others that have RL work involved. either losing their sark, having to much work to do anything or just losing interest in ponies
or pressure on whether their work is good enough, there is always those that give up thanks to that pesky problem

Not too bad, I would say, considering there were 127 stories in total.
"Sex Ed: Pony Style" is a nice winner too, I guess (who would have thought there are so many perverts here who are into cute, little fillies
), so that's at least something.
Hopefully you'll let some background fillies who usually just watch from the sidelines have some fun
in that one, too.

That's something I never understood and never will understand..... Losing interest in ponies, how, exactly?
We have this huge world with Equestria and the lands beyond (just think of all the places the movie just introduced!), we have an army of ponies with intriguing personalities that can be discovered if one just looks close enough and analyzes their appearances and even a very rich history to draw from, which got introduced to us more just recently, too, and still does, with "Legends of Magic".
If you are tired to write about the Mane Six or, Luna forbid!, even tired of writing about the Cutie Mark Crusaders, then you can go and write about background/side ponies, where you have an armada to choose from and that armada grows every season with a couple of episodes that show two or three new and interesting background/side ponies in each.
If you are tired to write about the usual Ponyville/Canterlot/Cloudsdale trifecta, then you can go and write about one of the dozens of lesser-known places, say, Hollow Shades (we still don't know the history of it even though the finale of this season finally showed this town to us) or Fillydelphia. Or, how about writing how life is in Saddle Arabia (presumably the place where Saffron Masala and Coriander Cumin come from), if you want to have it extra exotic? It's all there.
And even once all background/side ponies are written about and their full potential is used up, you can create your own OC ponies (we only know a small fraction of Equestria's population, after all, so there are much more ponies who live there we've never seen or heard from) and let them interact with ponies we know from the show or just write an adventure that is all about them.
And if you need a break from ponies or have just grown tired of ponies once and for all? Then you have a plethora of other races and species that populate Equus to choose from if you crave a non-pony story; griffons, changelings, yaks, even hippogriffs now! And still some more.
There are nine known races in total to choose from. And if that isn't enough, you can create your own race, there are still a lot of places on Equus that we haven't seen yet, with potential for unknown races and species.
Considering all of that, there really is no reason to get disinterested in writing MLP: FiM fanfiction, so it really is a mystery to me how someone can.
Are there that many who give up because of this? It's an impression I haven't gotten so far, but if that problem is severe, we would need something better here to help pony authors grow and develop and to give them the confidence to continue.

Yes and no I'd say, the description was still pretty vanilla compared to some of the things that get featured and still has a spice to it, so to speak.
