    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

Friday, Friday, Gotta Get Down on Friday. · 4:33am Feb 3rd, 2018

No, not that one fanfic I wrote. (Though it does feature the first mention of Gnollpoleon! Running gags, people!)

Y'see, by "Get Down on Friday" I apparently mean "Go on a 3,000 word writing bender and finish that silly mystery story that all of like two dozen people will actually read."

Which is to say, Murder Most Equestrian is finished! Or, uh, almost finished. I've got an epilogue to tack on there, too. And as I look at it now I realize there are a lot of tweaks I could/possibly should go back and fiddle with in order to make the mystery flow better. But really, this is my first foray into this sort of thing ... and heck, I'm not even gonna complain that it turned out more Scooby Doo than Agatha Christie. I probably could have written it a bit tighter ... but on the other hand I'll just hide behind the fact that Flash Sentry is a very unreliable narrator, not to mention a little bit dense, so obviously he missed stuff. Duuuuuh.

Anyway, go read, and I hope you enjoy! And stay tuned! For now that I've more or less finished Murder Most Equestrian, I kinda have to pay attention to my entry for Aragon's comedy contest (which has had the deadline extended, woo!)

Woo-hoo! :pinkiehappy:

What was it they said about one of the Velvet Underground's albums, that only a couple dozen people bought it, but everyone who did went on to form a band?

To be honest, I'd hardly call myself the Velvet Underground of pony-fic. I mean, I'm a pretentious ass, but I'm not that pretentious. :)
