The Case of the Mystified Mystery Writers · 3:33am Jan 24th, 2018

Hello everyone!

Well, another Monday has come and gone, and with it has come some new chapters, both in Noire and in Letters from the Homefront. I'm glad that some people seem to enjoy these stories, and it was good to hear some positive feedback in Letters! I hope that you all are looking forward to next Monday as much as I am!

However, that's not what this blog is about. This blog is about sharing another project of mine that's been in the working for several months now.

See, a long time back, I came up with the idea of doing a workshop on how to write a mystery story as part of a monthly live event on another Discord server for a friend. Sadly, I never got the opportunity to do it then, but that was probably for the best, seeing as I needed the time to better flesh out the idea. In the past few months, I've been working on and off at making the workshop into a single audio project and setting it to a video. And just in the past couple days, that dream has finally become a reality!

Have you ever marveled at the great whodunits of other authors and thought to yourself, "I'd like to do that, but I don't know where to start?" This "workshop" was designed to give would-be mystery authors like yourselves a chance to get an idea of how to flesh out ideas of clues, suspects, and nefarious deeds and make them into a story! Just check the video below to begin. (Your results may vary. PonyJosiah13 does not claim to be a professional mystery author and freely admits that he doesn't know everything about writing the genre)

That's all for now. Enjoy!

Josiah
