When you come up with an amazing new OC with an adorable color scheme specifically tailored to your interests.
When you come up with an interesting backstory for that OC that ensures optimal character development.
When you remember she was supposed to be an AU character for when your ultimate NOTP gets together, and that her existence would therefore require your ultimate NOTP to get married.
So, in other words, I got so caught up in the IYGALL crime novel AU that I somehow came up with a perfect cinnamon roll of a character...who happens to be the direct result of Coco being deceived for 10+ years and MoCo becoming a thing. (Also, I hate the fact that I even gave that ship a name in my head. But at least that can be remedied by giving Coco's other ships more creative names, like Cocoa Stealer or Costume Jewelry. This...cannot be changed so easily.)
Anyway, I've officially overthought this story idea way more than I should, and it would essentially consist of A) Mosely still failing even though the results are far more drawn out, B) a far more deadly result for him pertaining to the phrase "beware the nice ones," C) Coco trying to make up for her awful life failures by finding Babs again and begging for forgiveness (and contrary to Mosely's plans, Bambi still ends up adopting her anyway so she isn't out on the streets again), and D) Coco trying to be a mother to a child whose father she loved mainly out of fear...and who also happens to be a ball of anxiety and abandonment complexes after a short life with the Oranges.
This was only supposed to be a "fun bad end thought exercise," but darn you, Mikan Orange/Sakura Song. You may end up being the worst Orange of all, for making me fall in love with you and making want to write could quite possibly be the most depressing thing I've ever imagined outside of Actress Square.
So essentially, I already had a fanchild prepared for Scene/Coco (name still TBA, but it'll probably have "Blazer" in it somewhere), so what do we say that we just make Blazer and Sakura twins, make Sakura have ordinary social anxiety that has nothing to do with the Oranges, and forget this twisted AU ever existed, 'kay?
