New Year, New Chapter, New Stories! · 11:20pm Jan 1st, 2018
Happy 2018 everyone! It's time to dust off 2017 and get started with some new ideas, new plans, and new hopes! And to start off the year, I have a few announcements.
First thing: a new chapter of Ponyville Noire has just been released. If you're a fan of Phillip Finder and Daring Do's continuing adventures, please go give it a look!
Second: some of you might have noticed that a few days ago, I posted a new story, A Country Duet. This is a tie-in sidestory to Noire, focusing on Coloratura and Applejack. This is an ongoing slice-of-life/romance story that I hope to use as a way to expand the Noireverse vertically rather than horizontally, and give some minor characters some screentime to show their personalities. I don't think I'll have the time to update this regularly, but I hope to release at least one chapter a month.
On the subject of sidestories, this is not the only sidestory to Noire I hope to release. An upcoming project that I hope to release soon (depending on how fast I can get a proofreader) is a project I call Word from the Front Lines. This will focus on Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, and will tell the story of the Crystal War, which took place years before the start of Ponyville Noire.
Another short story will be a singleshot titled A Cold Day at Frostback, which will focus on minor character Officer Gentle Guide of Frostback Prison. This story will be drawn from my own experiences as a CO, and I hope to have it completed by February. I hope that you will be looking forward to these stories!
Third announcement: starting on the 7th, I will be moved to third shift (10 PM-6 AM), with Sundays and Mondays off. Noire will still be published on Mondays, and I hope that this new schedule will hopefully be less busy and give me more time to write.
