Life's weird, yo.
I'm drastically different to who I was when the year began. I won't bore you with the life-lessons and character development, other than today is that day I've finally gotten my shit together. This morning was full of surprises, from the acceptance into college and the possibility of reuniting with my friends, except this time without feeling like I didn't have a personality to offer.
It's a cliche, despite being true, of an artist never coming to like their own work. I like to say I've improved through the years on the site, but that's up for you to decide. I've grown lazy when it comes to one-shots, but The Golden Rule expects so much more out of me than what I currently possess, that I like having the ability to have smaller projects where I need not fear the stink of every word.
Blargh. I've rambled too much and forgot the point to this blog:
I've turned twenty, and the day feels like any other, but that's just my first clue I've entered adulthood. That being said, I have a favor to ask of you all, something I've been trying to have done for such a long time.
For my birthday, could you all please send me a photo of you drinking chocolate milk? Don't need to show your face, hell, you can just take a picture of a cup, but seeing an influx of chocolate milk would make this kid very happy indeed. And if not, hey, I don't blame you.
Anywho. Writer's are liars, but at least our pants are not on fire.
I have no chocolate milk on hand, so I'll just send you this stock image of some instead.

Happy b-day B, I wish I could give you a pic but I don't have any sugar product in my house to begin with. Anyway, thanks for all the awesome (and weird... And disturbing) stories you had gave us up this far.
Happy birthday to you! 20 is a great age as you are in the middle of a lot of great transitions that will make you into who you will become. Just don't ever forget to keep that open and creative mind long after you turn 25. So many lose their drive and ability to see things through different lenses as they get older. The true key to ongoing success and growth is to always remain child-like at heart while allowing your brain to take in tons of great inputs to ever challenge and advance your wordly understanding. :)
The way you write is so very philosophical. I admire your talent and can see it only growing not only in Pony but in your own original projects. It will be very exciting to know how far you take your creative talents outside of the realm of MLP. All of us writers can do it while always paying our homages to everything that inspired us to date.
I'm afraid I don't have any chocolate milk but if you can imagine a 37 year old blind guy with a cup of chocolate milk and eyes almost like Snowdrop's you got me. (That's how my eyes are described to me. Though I've got a tad of redness around them as a result of years-and-years of medicines and surgeries. So glad Snowdrop never had to go under the knife.)
