About season 7 and Divine Indifference · 2:57am Dec 9th, 2017
Hey guys!
Some people asked me on how/if I was going to implement season 7 into Divine Indifference, so I thought I'd make a quick blog about it. Truth is, I haven't really watched season 7, so I have no clue wtf is even going on. I know Starswirl came back and apparently pillars play some role, but w/e.
I did not predict any of this as well, my Starswirl being kinda lost is just a happy little accident, that will get resolved differently.
Cheers!
I always find it very amusing when an stories plot fits conveniently perfectly with the source material cannon.
Now I'm rather curious when and how you will bring Starswirl back from limbo.

Assuming he’s actually in limbo, and that he didn’t just go way to far forwards in time.

When it comes to time travel and canonicity, everything is relative...
Basically just a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff! Hah!
So, if you think about it... The spell Starswirl cast and displaced him could be the very spell he uses to help put the Pony of Shadows into limbo, as well as the spell that jumpstarts everything we know about him in the show.
Crazy fun, eh?
All you need to watch to get caught up is “Campfire Tales”, “Daring Done”, “A Health of Information” and both parts of the S7 finale
I suggest you don't try to include season 7 canon because you're already too far gone and require major tweaking to put it in. Major plot were revealed in the finale that you've already contradicted which is the old bearer of the EoH, the old EoH, and the creation of the Tree of Harmony. Also, Starswirl was actually a dick. If you include it in, you either need to go full on purge your content and start over, heavy tweaking and pray to whatever god that exist the reader don't suspect anything and accept it, or derail the story and have it crash into the nearby train station. It's not that I don't want canon in the story, I just don't want the story to be destroyed should you be unable to keep up with the canon
