I second that. Especially when you need to do this to unlock the good units, like Star Mages and Scouts. How in the Netherworld was I supposed to know that without looking up a guide?

What game are Star Mages a Senate unlock? In every Disgaea I've ever played, they unlock automatically when you have a Red, Blue, and Green each at level 20. Now, Magic Knights being a Senate unlock, that was a surprise to me. Same with Gunners, Druids, Ninjas...

Meanwhile, I'm overjoyed that Disgaea D2 allows me to upgrade my units to the next tier without having to actually reincarnate them to level 1.

But yeah, the Dark Assembly is annoying. The whole idea of "bribe or beat lawmakers into submission to get what you want done" is a lot more entertaining in concept than execution.

Yeah, I was specifically talking about that scenario, in which you need to level up specific classes to a specific level to unlock other classes. I guess I just wasn't clear enough.
