    I got ART!

I know I haven't done a blog in awhile, but being a full-time single parent working a full-time job, and a part-time writer tends to really chew into the hours I have in a week. That said, I just had to carve out a little time to show off the remarkable gift I was given from Lady Lightning Strike by way of the amazingly talented artist Pridark.

    Commissions!

Yeah, been awhile since I've written any sort of blog post, but I do have some good news. I'm re-opening to commissions! My patrons on Patreon will get priority for their commissions first, but it doesn't mean that everyone else can't ask for some stories either. Here are my commission conditions:

So... a small heads up about the upcoming month...

I'm about to start writing the final chapter or two of the Brightly Lit saga, after which time I'm actually going to be going on vacation for a week. As in actual time off from my job and all other responsibilities. Which means no Twilight Learned this month, and perhaps not next month either as I reassess things in the wake of the end of writing roughly 350,000 words on one pair of stories set

So... a bit of a heads up

Over the past few years I've engaged in a practice of letting my patrons on Patreon decide what story I should update following the Brightly Lit update in the month, and I've noticed a bit of a pattern. Mainly that anytime "How Twilight Learned" comes up in the voting it easily wins. So recently I asked my patrons if they would like me to just concentrate on Brightly Lit and HTL until one of

    State of the Pen

It's been 10 days since my brother died and 6 since we laid him to rest at the foot of a willow tree near a shady stream. I find myself both functional and numb. I can act, react, and do things, but anything beyond the basics is like trying to push fog with your hands. Something happens but not much. I find myself staring at a computer screen and feeling... nothing.

A question for my followers and readers. · 10:40pm Nov 8th, 2017

So, as most of you have been able to tell, I'm back up to speed as far as writing goes. My writing plan that I'm running on right now is to bounce back and forth between Brightly Lit and Mail Troubles, to get back up speed on those stories as they both contain elements paid for by my Patrons.

However, I intend to keep one week a month for other projects and I am very undecided as to what to write for the last week of November. So, I will leave the choice up to you, my readers and followers. Of the following, which would you like to see come from me in the last week of November.

1) More Equestria, Destroyed?
2) Another Thruster story?
3) A new chapter of Journey?
4) More Slaves to Darkness?
5) More of Twilight Learned?

I will add up the votes at midnight, my time, on November 22nd and go with the majority. Leave your vote in the comments, and if this goes well, I'll likely repeat this in the months to come.

Take care out there, and keep your stick on the ice.

Tough choice, they are all really good!

But I think we could all use a giggle, so my vote is for Thruster.

#5.
I, for one, could do with some more loving of baddies!

I am completely torn between Thruster and How Twilight Sparkle Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Baddies.

I would go with 'How Twilight Sparkle Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Baddies', I think it's more fun then the others.

I'm quite curious what Twilight encounters (and learns) in the next alternate timeline she visits.

I would like to see either more "Twilight learned" or another "Thruster" story. If Thruster wins maybe we could see more ponies using them, with hopefully hilarious results!! :pinkiehappy:

Thruster, Mark IV is tentatively sketched out as an encounter with the Enterprise-D. Mainly because I ship Picard and Celestia. Picard is a skilled horseman after all, he even has his own saddle.

Definitely Twilight Learned. There's one hell of a cliffhanger where you left it at, and i'm quite interested in how she's going to get caught up in something as chaotic as a war.

:| cuddle dungeon sequel!

5, definitely 5.
