Brief thoughts on Miraculous Ladybug S2E5-6 (minimal spoilers) · 2:15pm Nov 4th, 2017
Not fully blogging these episodes until December, but I thought I'd share my thoughts while they're fresh...
E5 "Riposte": So we got that new character everyone was buzzing about, Kagami, and...I have to say, this was an awesome episode. If it had consisted of nothing but Adrien's swashbuckling fencing match with Kagami it'd have been perfect. But then it turned into THE BIGGEST LADRIEN EPISODE OF THE SERIES SO FAR and that put it waaaaaaaay above perfect. It also began subtly setting up hints neither main character can ignore to lead up to the reveal.
E6 "Robostus": Oh god. Oh god, this. Just...no. Oh, it hurts. I will never look at "M. Pigeon" the same way again because this? This right here? This episode is offensively bad. It isn't just the worst episode of S2 so far, it's the worst episode of the series so far. There was absolutely no excuse for this. This is the "Spock's Brain" of Miraculous Ladybug.
You have got to do something to boost those will saves of yours. Or not, whatever you're more comfortable with.
Forgive me if this question is even the slightest bit presumptuous, but if Netflix messes up the episode order for Season 2 as well, is there any chance you'll post a preferred watching order blog post, like you did for Season 1?
Max building a robot was that unrealistic I take it?

I think season 2 is going to have a set episode sequence due to more plot attentiveness.

It's everything about the episode, really. It's just a flamingly stupid episode.
You gotta admit though; they did something pretty creative by having Hawkmoth's own creation fight back with his power am I right?
