For anyone who might be curious, I recently finished writing my Chrysalis story, but it still needs to go through an extensive editing process before it's ready to post. Expect the story in question to arrive in about a week at the earliest, but I'll be sure to let you know when it's out. As for everything else I've considered over the past few days, that's what this blog post concerns.
I've been itching to outline a longer story for months at this point, but I'm getting closer to coming up with an idea that might be interesting. The idea concerns writing a longer story that features Starlight Glimmer Trixie, and some other notable characters, and it'll take some inspiration from more surreal and/or creepy works. It'll also have emotional, slice of life moments sprinkled throughout the narrative. As such, I'd say it's similar to the video game Night in the Woods in tone.

I'm probably going to step away from the more serious blog posts for a while, as my last one concerning the analysis community's bullshit got ugly in the comments section, hence why it was taken down. That portion of the fandom still irks me, but it's surprisingly a quick way to generate heated discussion, so I'll keep quiet on the matter moving forward. Funny coming from someone who does blogs on each of the episodes (except for the movie), but weirder things have happened.
Lastly, I've thought of making another FiMFiction group, this one for another character most people forget. This idea came up during another round of shitposting on some Discord servers, but if there's enough interest, I may as well make the group. But first, I should introduce you to the pony in question:
This is Blaze, and while she may have a familiar design to another pony, there are a few small differences that differentiate them such as how her mane is one darker color instead of two brighter ones. However, similarities aren't what caught my attention. With the exception of Troubleshoes, I've come up with the idea that Blaze is one of the unluckiest ponies in all of Equestria:
This sums up Blaze's life:
-Got her ass kicked by Spike
-Sixth place in Wonderbolts Derby
-Magic stolen by Tirek, complete with crash landing
-Gets confused with Spitfire a lot
-Tortured and enslaved that one time
-Probably went on a date with Troubleshoes once
Cherry Berry should look behind her shoulder; she's got some competition! Admittedly, this weird idea is part of my fondness for ponies who've had more than a few instances of bad luck. Maybe that's an excuse to ship Blaze, Cherry Berry, and Troubleshoes at the same time. It'd probably end with everything on fire and a few broken bones. 
Shitposting aside, I've been doing well for the most part, though I do have a mild cold. I wish you all the best!

I've seen a few stories on FiMFiction where Blaze and Spitfire are sisters, though a few others have them as cousins. It wouldn't surprise me to find out they're related. Luckily, both of them are cute, even if the Blaze is extremely unlucky.
I was imagining a "sixth place out of five racers" situation.
