I...don't think pony tails look like that, whether it's MLP or IRL.
Horse tails consist of just hair, not a thin extension of the spine ending with a tuft of hair - that's a donkey's or zebra's tail.

Yeah, I did read that it was a commission, but...eh, I just tend to notice inconsistencies.
That may or may not be due to my adoration of the Ace Attorney franchise.
Or my mild autism - I'm great at 'thinking tangentially', mostly when I'm making bad jokes or puns about something no-one else would've noticed
