    Remember Obscure Spike Shippings?

Remember when obscure Spike shippings that were met with middling reviews and a lot of confused interest popped out of this account like every few months?

    Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Remember Spike stories that felt like they could have an entire pop-punk album written based on them?

    Hey everyone!

Look, 2020 has SUCKED for most people. That being said, I think it's high time we start spreading holiday cheer a little early this year!

If you would like, why don't we all have some good old jinglemas fun by popping a cute little Santa hat on our avatars? It's quite simple to do and it adds a bit of color and festive-ness to our accounts!

My Thoughts on "To Change a Changeling" · 11:18pm Sep 2nd, 2017

I LOVED this episode.

It spoke to me on all kinds of levels, just sayin'. Now, to avoid spoilers, I'm putting up a page break, but if you wanna hear my thoughts on why this episode kicked about three different flavors of ass, check below!

So, first things first, this episode focused on my two favorite ponies: Starlight and Trixie. For those that know me, I have mad love for those two and even more love for writing them. So, that was a huge plus.

Second things second, the moral of this episode is fantastic! People are different. Not everyone fits into every mold. Personally, I have a hard time getting along with other users in the fandom, primarily because I'm so outspoken, extroverted and very, very off the wall with my thinking and writing style at times. (I've written like three stories romancing the idea of infidelity for God's sake.) However, that doesn't mean there's not a place for me on Fimfiction, and that goes for any situation you could find yourself in.

Thirdly and lastly, although I felt like Thorax's brother could've used a bit more, I don't know, screen time, I felt he was well done. He was shown to be a base opposite of the other changelings, yet he still served a purpose and found a place. I loved him for what he was and what he taught.

I felt this episode really spoke to the idea of leadership and what it means to help people feel like they belong, despite differences. I'm a restaurant manager myself, so learning how to best use the talents of those under my leadership is a critical part of my job, such as it was with Thorax. It was a simple lesson learned, but underneath was a very complex application of said lesson. It was fantastic.

I strongly recommend watching this episode if you can and keep being awesome!

Final grade: 8/10

I agree with you, it really showed how hard it can be to adapt to changes and that you should help each other, no matter what.

Same!

Loved the episode as well Famous!

This episode was great!!! I really enjoyed it!!! I'm glad they fulfilled the promise of Thorax's brother that they suggested at in Triple Threat.

I really enjoyed this episode as well. It was nice to see what progress in the Changeling society had taken place since the battle for the hive against Chrysalis.

I have meany questions about this statement

I've written like three stories romancing the idea of infidelity

Oh cool, I'm not the only homewrecker here.
