    Remember Obscure Spike Shippings?

Remember when obscure Spike shippings that were met with middling reviews and a lot of confused interest popped out of this account like every few months?

    Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Remember Spike stories that felt like they could have an entire pop-punk album written based on them?

Would You Consider a Santa Hat? (2020)

    Hey everyone!

Look, 2020 has SUCKED for most people. That being said, I think it's high time we start spreading holiday cheer a little early this year!

If you would like, why don't we all have some good old jinglemas fun by popping a cute little Santa hat on our avatars? It's quite simple to do and it adds a bit of color and festive-ness to our accounts!

We Can Make A Difference · 4:36pm Aug 30th, 2017

One and all, here is a relatively important blog. I don't usually post stuff like this because I try to keep things relevant to my work on this site, but this means a lot to me.

For those of you who aren't aware, part of my country has been devastated by a hurricane. Unprecedented flooding, spreading disease and lack of food and clean water are costing people their lives. The place is Texas and the damage is getting worse. I personally have friends down there, even on this site. It's scary.

Now, I did my research. I wanted to find a charity or fund to donate to where I knew for a fact the money would go to the cause and not be used for personal gains or government hypocrisy. I found that in the form of a fundraiser set up by JJ Watt, a football player who plays in Houston, Texas and resides there as well. This man donates much time and energy to his community, so I knew when he set up a fundraiser it'd be used to the maximum for the good.

I'm not telling you all this to guilt you into helping if you can't. But if you could, even a dollar could help buy a bottle of clean water or get a can of food to someone who needs it. I could only give a very small amount myself, but I like to think that if enough of us get together, we can make a difference to someone.

Disasters like this remind me that everything we have and everything about daily routine could be interrupted at any given time. I know for a fact if something like this ever affects me, I'll need the help from someone else.

Anyhow, that's enough nonsense. If you guys have the ability or even want to just research the cause for yourself, here's the link to it:

Have a great day, guys, and keep rockin'!

I heard what hapens over therre, my condulences, I hope you're fine.

Yeah, despite being in Florida, which is about as far away from Texas as you can get (Well, except for perhaps Alaska) I haven been wanting to help you guys over there. My mind personally's been thinking of the Red Cross or the Salvation Army, but you've now got me thinking of another possible choice. I'll see what I can do. If not money, I'll try and send something else y'all's way.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of those effected by the hurricane.

I live in Arkansas, the state above Texas. So I'm not in immediate danger, but my friends and fellow humans are. Thanks for the thoughts.

Sure hope you guys are all okay.....

Buuuuuuuuut still, bout time Mother Nature did some spring cleaning :trollestia:

Only have so much to share, but I can share something. I have a pen pal just north of Houston, so I got a little freaked. I'm lucky to be up in the northeast (and didn't get rocked by Sandy, either).

Anything helps. Thanks for the thoughts!

Anything and everything can make a difference.

I'm lucky that I'm not in a flood danger zone evreything around me was underwater but my area stayed above water

That's why you live in Canada. :raritywink:

:ajbemused: even I can't make a joke about this over 20 people have died because of this and I don't think it's funny

I didn't say it's funny. I'm just saying I'm glad to be in Canada. Sorry if it came out that way. :ajsleepy:

It's been crazy down here. We aren't getting hit by what they are getting hit by, but a lot of people are evacuating to Dallas and it's hard talking to people that have lost everything with this storm. Thanks for posting this, Dustin

Its nice to see someone like you spreading this. I'm glad I decided to follow you
