Hello, all. Just wanted to let everyone know that starting tomorrow (8/17) I will be on vacation until 8/28. While I'll have some internet access during that time, I don't know how good it will be. If I do check in here, it will be brief and I likely will not respond to comments or PMs until I get back. Part of the reason for the vacation is to see the total solar eclipse that's coming up, as I've never seen one before in person, so I'm really excited about that part. Hopefully the sunny weather they've been having where I'm going will hold up.

By all means! Solar eclipses only happen ever so often, after all
Besides, I'm sure a lot of people are taking some time off to look at an awesome cosmic phenomenon. Heck, I would if I could, but not everyone has that luxury.

Casper, Wyoming is going to be stuffed on Monday. I'm living four hours away, but I'll see a partial eclipse where I am. However, I will probably watch Science channel to see what's going on.
Solar Eclipse is on my birthday and my day off from work as well. Will take a few minutes to take a look.
Dont know where youre going, but if it's the Phoenix, AZ area, drop me a line. Assuming you dont mind me fanboying at you, of course.

Same here, but I'll be in Louisville if that is where you're going.
I hope where you are going will have good weather to view it. Where I live we would be getting a partial viewing, around 80%, and they are predicting it to be raining all day so I guess the Internet will be the only way I will be able to see it.
