What We Write About When We Write About War

I've never really looked at my own body of work and tried to suss out a general theme. As far as I know, I don't really have an identity as far as what I write, at best having one for how I write. So, yeah. Apparently some dude going by the name of Illya Leonov did a reading of one of the short stories in my Magic: The Gathering-themed collection. Specifically, I Have No Ears, And I Must Hear.

Give it a listen. The guy's got a voice like melted butter and Morgan Freeman had a baby, and he barely flubs his lines at all. He really makes this random story about an alien from another dimension sound really epic and sexy.

It also may have reminded me of all the people who wanted to hear more from this story.
